Excursión para grupos pequeños a Hobbiton y cuevas de Waitomo en Auckland
Excursión de un día desde Auckland hasta el famoso y mágico set de rodaje de Hobbiton de El señor de los anillos y las impresionantes cuevas Waitomo Glowworm.
En esta excursión le recogerán en nuestro cómodo minibús de 12 plazas y le llevarán a través de la impresionante campiña de Waikato (la zona agrícola más amplia del mundo) en una visita guiada a Hobbiton. Durante el viaje en dirección sur se topará con un impresionante paisaje, grandes oportunidades para hacer fotos, contemplará hermosas montañas y distintos animales de granja.
Tras el viaje llegará a la granja de ovejas familiar de Alexander y a Shire's Rest, la entrada a Hobbiton, donde podrá ver miles de ovejas, tomar algo para comer, tomar un café o un helado mientras recoge sus entradas para el set de rodaje.
A continuación, suba a bordo de uno de los grandes autobuses verdes de Hobbiton para salir en su recorrido de 2 horas totalmente guiado por este asombroso set de rodaje de 4,5 hectáreas con un guía profesional de Hobbiton para asegurarse aprovechar al máximo su visita. Durante el recorrido, adéntrese en los vastos pastos de la Comarca, visite las 44 casas hobbit, vea los impresionantes jardines, escuche las historias sobre la producción de las películas, y terminar su experiencia en el famoso Green Dragon Inn para disfrutar de una bebida fría.
Después de El Señor de los Anillos, la experiencia continúa en dirección oeste hacia la impresionante región de Waitomo. Hay mucho que ver en la visita guiada a Waitomo, incluidas presas hidráulicas, hermosas granjas, carreras de caballos y la capital Kiwiana de Nueva Zelanda.
Antes de llegar a las cuevas, el recorrido hará una parada en la finca de Waitomo para el almuerzo y una pequeña sorpresa que el equipo no le dará ahora.
Una vez en Waitomo, explore las antiguas e impresionantes cuevas y vea diferentes formaciones de cueva incluidas estalactitas, estalagmitas y columnas de lima antes de descender aún más bajo tierra para su experiencia de luciérnagas. Suba a bordo de su barco de luciérnagas para realizar un crucero por el río gruta con miles de luciérnagas único por Nueva Zelanda para ver más de 120 años sobre su cabeza. Las cuevas Waitomo Glowworm son una visita obligada para cualquier viajero.
En la visita guiada de regreso a Auckland los lugares de interés continúan con el río más largo de Nueva Zelanda, la estación eléctrica Huntly y el lugar de enterramientos de las reinas maoríes.

Simon was our tour guide and he was great. He was so friendly and gave us interesting information about the places we visited and New Zealand in general. You can tell he is very knowledgable and is very good at his job. The two places we visited were amazing, we loved them! It was also super easy to be picked up and dropped off at our hotel and having transportation to each place. Great value!! The price is totally worth what we did. Overall it was a wonderful day!
This was our first visit to New Zealand and we wanted to see Hobbiton. The small group size was perfect for us and better than a large bus. The driver was personable and informative, and we got to see some lovely countryside in addition to the two primary tour locations.
Enjoyed the tour very much even though it was raining for the most of the day. The tour guide was very good. We loved both attractions. Highly recommend.
It was amazing, the tour guide Jack was really good at explaining and give a bit of history for all locations we travelled through. Very well organised, good breaks in between for leg stretch, good options for lunch. Good sized tour, better experience and more personalised. And we got to get some ice cream on our way back to Aukland - nice hokey pokey flavour. Thank you!
Perfect guide, perfect place and perfect sightseeing. Kind of remind me the pleasure that I experienced from the movie, Hobbit. Excellent movie set. Thank you for a fantastic tour.
I had a blast on this tour and Jack our tour guide was so amazing!! He was very knowledgeable and very funny. Took us to get ice cream afterwards so who could complain.
The Good - Comfortable vehicle with only 6 of us for the tour. Pick up was on time and easy - Water and snacks were offered in the van. Although this was only done first thing in the morning and not again throughout the day - Stopped for a toilet stop on the way there and again on the way back for anyone that needed it - Hobbiton was well organised and the tour was amazing even for someone that hasn't seen the movies! Must go! - Caves were spectacular and a must see. Very different to caves that we have been in previously so glad we made the decision to attend these ones as we weren't sure it was going to be worth it - Stopping in for ice cream on the way back. Be warned everyone who had got a cone (as opposed to the extra 10c for a cup) had it dripping all over them and it wasn't even a hot day! The Bad - Unfortunately was our driver and 'guide'. This was the main reason we chose to go on firstly a small tour but just on a tour as opposed to hiring a car and going ourselves. Admitted he hadn't been doing this job for very long and it definitely showed. Was more interested in trying to be funny than tell us any useful information about New Zealand or the area. This was for sure the worst part of the tour and the reason for the low rating - The distance between places was longer than we thought. I guess as long as you are aware of it then should be ok - It's a long day, so be prepared for that, but at the same time was totally worth it for what we saw
