The ride from the city was about 45 minutes to a very gorgeous vineyard. The host met us immediately and sat us down for a glass of sparkling rosé. It was very informative and we even got to taste some of the grapes. If you are interested in tasting a lot of wines, this is not the tour for you. We tasted 3 with a long time in between tasting the first and the last two. The brunch was very light but all that we really needed
Nice ride from Barcelona to vineyard. It was a quick overview of Cava with their long history in Europe. Was travelling with my parents in their 70s and they also had a great time. Had some iberico, cheese, and chocolate at the end to go with a few wines for tasting. Bought 5 boxes to ship back home and you know how much I enjoyed the fine quality of their offering.
Highly recommend this tour. Well worth the money. Our tour guide was really friendly and informative. It was my birthday when we visited the Llopart winery and our guide made me feel really special. The lunch was Iberian ham, breads and Spanish cheese. We tasted two Cavas and one white wine. We had several glasses of each! The winery is about 40 minutes by bus from Barcelona city centre.
Loved the views and the house but the wine wasn’t great. Also, no red wine to sample. The oils( only 3 samples) was a complete bust.
Beautiful wineries and great tour. One of my favorite days!!
This was an amazing tour. The bus guide was very nice and knowledgeable. Both wineries were amazing and very different from each other. The amount of food was great, plenty for everyone and lots of wine to sample. They gave you a good pour of wine not just a little sip. It was a full day and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Learned so much from both the great guides at the wineries. I would highly recommend this tour to the wine lovers. The only thing was it was advertised as three wineries and we only went to two but there so much to see at both that it didn't bother me.
Lots of fun on this wine tasting tour. We were in a group of eight fun people from the USA, Australia, and New Zealand. The Codorniu Cava tour was a favorite. A great way to spend a very hot day in June in Catalonia.
Love this tour. This was our 3rd time taking this particular trip. Since we can not buy Jean Leon wine in the US, this is a special treat. Love tasting the grapes right off the vine.
I can not rave enough about this tour. We were lucky to be only four people in the brand new and very nice Mercedes small bus that took us on a very private tour to three different places. Jean Leon was a new experience to us, but what an amazing story and when we got back we ordered two cases based on our great the tour was. Torres is a big factory, but they make the most out of it and the lunch tapas was delicious. Ending at Codorniu and the bubbly they served was really nice. The three different guides at the wineries were all excellent with great knowledge of their products and english A. I have recommended this tour to lots of friends and I might take it again when we are in Barcelona next time.
Three beautiful wineries, great wines and Sylvia was a lovely guide.
