17.00 h: reúnase con el guía en el vestíbulo del Hotel Sunworld Dynasty por la tarde para empezar su sencillo paseo de 5 a 6 km (3 a 4 millas). Siga a su guía pasando por la antigua iglesia St Joseph's Church de 300 años de historia y pasee por el mercado nocturno de la bulliciosa calle de los aperitivos Wangfujing.
Esta bulliciosa zona de puestos de comida y restaurantes es un gran lugar para conseguir codearse con los comensales y disfrutar de un banquete en una amplia gama de aperitivos exóticos como estrellas de mar, caballitos de mar, escorpión y cordero kebab, copos tostados, tazones humeantes de málà tàng (sopa de fideos picantes) y zhájiàngmiàn (fideos en salsa de judías fritas). Continúe a pie a lo largo del parque de la Ciudad Imperial para ver a los lugareños haciendo ejercicio, bailando y jugando al badminton en el parque. A continuación, avance por Nanluoguxiang Hutong, un famoso "hutong" o callejón que sorprende por la gran cantidad de pequeñas tiendas. Visite el Campanario y la Torre del Tambor de la dinastía Ming, construidos hace 600 años, y conozca ambas estructuras de la mano de su guía.
Por último, pasee por el bullicioso Yandaixiejie Hutong de camino al lago Houhai, rodeado por varios bares, cafeterías y discotecas. Admire los hermosos paisajes de noche y el relajante ambiente en este punto donde termina la excursión. Si desea volver al hotel desde aquí directamente, su guía podrá ayudarle a coger un taxi (no incluido) o le dará las indicaciones para llegar a la estación de metro más cercana.

I had the pleasure of being hosted by Dean on an evening tour of Beijing. He was knowledgeable, extremely polite and professional. His smile and positive demeanour were infectious, as he kindly led me on a walk, visiting local shops and places of interest. I must add that his grasp of English was very good. We finished at a restaurant and had a meal and a beer together. Thoroughly recommended!

This tour was a lot of walking. I was not expecting a three mile walk just to get from Snack Street to the Drum and Bell Tower. I loved the destination once we arrived, but walking in China, when you are not use to the streets and the pavement was a bit too much. We had a tour with 7 people and the tour guide went at our pace and stopped when someone needed to rest. I was very thankful the tour was limited to our group exclusively. The guide was incredibly informative and personable. His English was very easy to understand. Great experience, but again..... A lot of walking a little over 5 miles from Sunworld Dynasty Hotel to the end of the tour at Qianhai Park

A great way to see parts of the city that tourists don't often see. The guide,Dean, could have been more forthcoming with his explanations but answered all our questions.

Maybe it was the weather affecting our review because it was so hot, but this tour basically consisted of walking down the shopping street in Beijing, the snack street where our guide couldn't even recommend anything because she 'doesn't eat this food', then walking forever to again walk down an overcrowded shopping street. Nothing of substance, could have done the same thing on our own. In fact, the 4 college girls that started following us were more helpful than the actual guide...when the guide got us lost.
