What an amazing trip! Marvin gave us the experience of a lifetime. Not only did he drive us there, we listened to music, laughed and danced. It definitely made the time go by faster. Once there, he took our pictures and allowed us to roam around on our own and explore. Once done, we went to a well known Chinese restaurant. We had more food than we could ever imagine(not just dumplings). The food was delicious and Marvin was great company as well. Would highly recommend this trip!

We had a brilliant trip with Marvin to the Great Wall! So easy with a pick up from the hotel and Marvin even came up the wall to take photos for us. Lunch was one of the best in China - it was far more than dumplings, at an award winning restaurant we could never have found!

A totally amazing day! Thank you Sun for being our wonderful driver. Sun picked us up on time and we appreciated stopping for drinks prior to getting to the Great Wall. You guided us to exactly where we needed to go and what we needed to do. This trip was amazing....take the gondola up and definitely take the toboggan down....loads of fun! Once up on the wall no tour guide is needed...you simply want to take your time walking the wall we had a couple of hours to explore....wear hiking boots!, looking at the scenery, taking the history in. Sun then took us out of the tourist area to a local restaurant for a delicious lunch. Sun was delightful and charming, and a wonderful driver. Thank you for the most wonderful day!

Excellent tour with guide Susan. She arrived at the Beijing hotel early, and we started off for the 1:15 drive to the wall about 8:30. She took care of all the tickets. We chose to take the optional chair lift up to the wallwalking up there in 99 degree heat would not be wise. which cost about 16 or so round trip. The wall itself is pretty rugged and steep in places, hardly a flat spot on it. Magnificent views and picture opportunities. Susan took some excellent pictures and she was super nice. We walked around the top of the wall for a couple of hours then decided to go back. On the way down you can either take the chair lift, or do this toboggan-luge style thing that slowly slides down a track back to the parking area. We took the toboggan and it was a huge amount of fun, not dangerous at all. We stopped for some beers at the bottom, then took off for lunch. We stopped for lunch in this town about halfway back to Beijing and not a single person spoke English besides us and Susan. Obviously a very authentic Chinese meal. The food was fabulous, and way more than we could eat. After that it was back to the hotel. Susan was a great tour guide, spoke great English, had good knowledge of the history of the wall, and stories to tell about it. Excellent day - thanks for having this trip available!

Martin was an excellent driver and managed the whole day perfectly, the lunch was fantastic and exceeded expectations, especially the portion sizes. The waitress at the restaurant was also very courteous and paid special attention to what was wanted. Overall the trip was very well managed with a luxury level car to travel in. The wall was much less crowded due to the early arrival and this was a benefit also in terms of avoiding the higher mid-day temperatures. Overall, I rate this trip 5 stars.
