Tras subir a su crucero con almuerzo, tendrá algo de tiempo para explorar el barco mientras se aleja del puerto. El almuerzo bufé empezará en breve y podrá durar el tiempo que desee, ya que puede comer todo lo que le apetezca. Mientras cena, podrá disfrutar de una excursión narrada por el impresionante horizonte de Boston desde nuestras ventanas panorámicas.

Después de comer, se dirigirá a la cubierta superior, la mayor cubierta al aire libre en la ciudad, para tomar aire fresco y disfrutar de unas vistas increíbles. O bien, disfrute escuchando la música que reproducirá el pinchadiscos, desde música bailable hasta los éxitos más recientes.

Durante el crucero, pasará por el World Trade Center, el centro financiero de Boston. Observará el lugar en el que se llevó a cabo el Motín del té en 1773, cuando los rebeldes se disfrazaron como indios y lanzaron al mar todo un cargamento de té para protestar por los impuestos británicos. Pasará por el lugar en el que se produjo la Masacre de Boston, que hoy en día es un simple círculo hecho de adoquinado que marca el lugar en el que varios soldados británicos asesinaron a cinco colonos americanos en 1770. La crueldad de este incidente contribuyo a encender la chispa en contra de los británicos que provocó el estallido de la Revolución Americana.

También podrá ver el USS Constitution, también conocido como Old Ironsides, un apodo bien merecido por su invencibilidad en la batalla. Old Ironsides inició su andadura en 1797 y es el buque más antiguo de la marina, conocido en todo el mundo. También verá el destructor naval de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, el USS Casin Young.

A continuación podrá ver el Tobin Memorial Bridge, erigido en 1948-49 y abierto al tráfico en 1950. Conecta la sección Charlestown de Boston con Chelsea. Además, verá Fort Independence y Castle Island. Fort Independence está situado a la entrada del puerto interior de Boston. Fundado en 1634, la isla posee el fuerte más antiguo del país.

The Spirit of Boston Lunch Cruise was Amazing! Boarding the ship early afforded my wife and daughter and I to find our table first but we went outside on the second level deck for a better view. It was great once we started to sail and we enjoyed a great meal that was available as soon as we were under way. We all agreed that the food was very good and as we finished we noticed a lot of people came out on deck once they finished their meal. So if you want a table outside you should get one when you board the ship. The Boston skyline was also Amazing and to get various perspectives of it as we went around the harbor was fantastic. It was also wonderful to see all of the other ships and sailboats that were out enjoying themselves in the harbor. The cruise also takes a path next to Logan airport so it's an added sight to see the jets take off and land as you're cruising along. While there was jazz playing on the outside speakers there was a DJ inside playing some top 40 and popular dance music and the indoor crowd was dancing up a storm. I feel good about my 5 star rating cause there was something for everyone! Finally, all of the staff were very nice, the drinks while pricy were great, the food was great, and having visited Boston many times I can say this is an unforgettable pleasure!

The staff was engaging and professional, the boat was clean but the food was so awful I barely ate a thing. I went to get dessert - as I was starving - and found that there was no more. Staff said there was no more (and said passengers had taken 3 or 4 desserts each). Later, contrary to what I was told, I saw that there was more dessert put out at the buffet. I took a few things but couldn't eat the dessert either as they also tasted horrible and were very dry (perhaps frozen and thawed?). Get it together, folks, on the food quality, quantity and presentation!
