Diríjase al interior de la sala donde le aguardan un mostrador de vinos y mesas de cata. Acomódese en su asiento y escuche atentamente mientras su sumiller le ofrece una introducción sobre Hungría y su patrimonio vinícola: una historia que se remonta a más de 1.000 años hasta la época de los Magyar.
Mientras escucha, podrá disfrutar de generosas muestras de ocho varietales de vino, todos cuidadosamente seleccionados para ofrecerle una visión equilibrada de los vinos húngaros, desde los clásicos hasta las nuevas tendencias. El vino que saborea se compra directamente a los productores y se encuentran entre los mejores del país
Deléitese con cada vino y haga sus propias notas mentales cuando el sumiller pone a cada uno en su contexto, explicando cómo se elabora y el terreno y microclima de su región de origen.
Aprenda sobre las notas distintivas y los olores de cada varietal, comparta sus ideas con sus compañeros, y anote sus observaciones sobre las hojas de cata de vinos proporcionadas. También hay un mapa de vinos con las diferentes regiones vinícolas y una guía rápida con datos fascinantes sobre cada vino.
Aclare su paladar con agua mineral, deguste el vino con pogácsa (deliciosas galletas húngaras) de cortesía y tal vez maride su catas con una selección de quesos artesanales clásicos de la zona y fiambres (no incluido en el precio).
Después de una cata de vinos de 2 horas, compre un vino que le guste especialmente, o lea detenidamente y compre otras variedades disponibles en la tienda (no incluido en el precio).

I love wine so what better way to spend my first night in Budapest than tasting local fine wines. Even though I arrived 40 mins early I was warmly welcomed and shown to my seat. Before I had even sat down I was poured a glass of wine and offered some very tasty bread and oils. They very kindly charged my mobile phone as it was almost dead. The tasting was superb. Our guide was very knowledgeable, you could see his passion for wine. The cheeseboards that accompanied the wines were expertly picked. I was offered a discount and took home two of my favorites along with one of the oils, they bubble wrapped my purchases to ensure they arrive safely back to my destination. There was absolutely no pressure to buy anything. I just loved what I tasted. All in all a beautiful evening

Excellent tasting of 8 high quality wines. Tamas was a superb host with a willingness to share wonderful details about Hungary and its wine history. The portions were very generous.

We had a private wine tasting in for 4 people which lasted for 2 hours. We tasted 7 wines and has in depth explanations of all the wine growing regions of Hungary, The wines were good to excellent especially the sparkling wine and Cabernet franc And the teacher was extremely well informed and answered all our questions. It takes place in a wine cellar with lots of character. If you are at all interested in Hungarian wines, this is the place to go.

A really enjoyable evening! The cellar venue is cozy and intimate and the hosts made us feel extremely welcome and included. I don't know a huge amount about wine, and especially not Hungarian wine, but I found it absolutely fascinating listening to the sommelier talk about the wines, and the wine itself was delicious! There were around 20 people attending the evening in total, and we were sat around 2 large communal tables, which meant that the evening had a friendly atmosphere and by the end we were chatting away merrily with all the other guests. Around half the people there were locals too, which gave it a really authentic feel. It was also a great value evening, as there was a lot of wine included and plenty of nibbles and snacks. Can highly recommend.

This is simply the best way to end a day. I can highly recommend to do this. The evening had a perfect balance between tasting wines, enjoying some delicious traditional Hungarian cuisine and listening to our hosts telling us about the wines. Must do!
