Crucero a Green Island desde Cairns

Green Island es una isla de coral situada a tan solo 26 km (16 millas) de Cairns en la Gran Barrera de Coral. Sus aguas protegidas ofrecen las condiciones perfectas para el buceo de superficie o el submarinismo en el arrecife.
Suba a bordo de la goleta en el puerto deportivo Marlin Marina, en Cairns, y disfrute de una taza de té o café servida con magdalenas recién horneadas y fruta. Cuando salga del muelle, ayude a izar las velas en el velero de 16,5 metros (54 pies). Tras unas breves nociones de seguridad, póngase cómodo, relájese y disfrute de la navegación a vela y motor a Green Island. Si va a hacer submarinismo, podrá completar la documentación y recibirá las nociones de seguridad durante la travesía, de forma que pueda hacer la inmersión en cuanto amarren.
Una vez atracado Pinnable Reef, justo al lado de Green Island, le darán la bienvenida los bancos de peces tropicales. Green Island es un parque marino nacional protegido, coronado por un bosque tropical de color esmeralda y rodeado de playas de arena blanca y magníficos arrecifes de coral. I've visited Australia many times, but had never been to Cairns or the Great Barrier Reef. I only had one day and wanted to do it right. I'm so glad that booked this cruise and I can't recommend it enough! The crew was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the reef and the area. We had lots of time to snorkel and dive before and after our tasty lunch. Returning to Cairns under sail was really special, too. The wine and dessert helped! I wouldn't recommend this cruise for small children, which is why I chose it. Although Green Island is touristy, this trip didn't feel like it. The whole experience exceeded my expectations.
Wonderful day! The crew, Paul, Tommy, Liam, and Katie; were excellent! They were extremely helpful and informative. Lunch and snacks hit the spot! The Great Barrier Reef was not to be missed. Green Island closed the majority of their rainforest so there was little to see or do on the island. You could skip the island altogether and just snorkel and enjoy the sea air. A very exhilarating yet relaxing day!
We chose this particular excursion because we wanted a smaller boat with fewer people. Our crew and the boat were amazing! The food was great also. I can't say enough good things about this whole trip. The Barrier Reef was something on our bucket list and it did not disappoint. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.
Great from start to finish. The crew was knowledgeable, helpful, and patient. Snorkeling the reef - amazing. Green Island was a bit of a tourist trap - but good for an hour of off the boat time to walk the beach. Food was magnificent!
This was the best tour we booked during our time in Australia! We were lucky that there were only about 11 people on our tour for the day and we were able to have a more personal connection with our tour guides. The whole staff was awesome and we had so much fun on this tour. I am not a swimmer but Jess who was in her last week of job training to see if she would get a permanent position and I'm hoping she was offered the position! took me out in the water and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. She was really patient with me though it took time for me to get in the water and once in explained all of the different species of fish and coral. I would highly recommend this tour and this company versus others.
If you want to snorkel the Great Barrier Reef and see beautiful green island this is by far and away the best tour out of Cairns. The crew of the ocean free is fantastic and love what they do. Don't take the big tours with hundreds of people, join these guys with a few others and you won't regret it

This was a wonderful day at sea from Cairns. Crew was very helpful and friendly. They provided a wonderful luncheon, we had drinks on board, fresh fruit served after the snorkeling. I was a little apprehensive about the snorkeling but one of the guys stayed with me the whole time and made sure I saw everything!!!! when you arrive in Cairns you will be bewildered by the hundreds of offers of sailing, scuba and snorkeling trips. Do yourself a favor and book ahead of time so you can relax when you arrive and enjoy Cairns to the fullest!!!
This was the most amazing trip. The crew were so helpful especially the German girl, so sorry I forgot her name. We had a variety of excellent food all day so you will certainly not be hungry during this trip. The Snorkeling was incredible and we had plenty of time to enjoy it. It was a beautiful location and the trip on the smaller boat to Green Island was wonderful. It felt like we were on a paradise island and had it all to ourselves. There were just enough people on board to make it comfortable and it was very relaxed, All the crew were so helpful and attentive and I would highly recommend that anyone looking for a very special day out on the Reef for either diving or snorkeling take this trip. They even provided sun lotion if you forgot to bring some.
