full-day el alamein and Commonwealth cemetery from Cairo

i am a world war 2 buff and i wanted to see something besides the antiquities which are all over egypt the trip up was pleasant about 3 hours up from cario came to the north egyptian coast, very beautiful, where the battle was fought but it was difficult to picture since it is all desert and to figure out the actual battle, the museum was really not good at all, substandard the artifacts were unkept not good at all, the only thing that was worth seeing was the cemetery of the allies who fought in the battle of El Alamin. my guide did not know much about the war and of course the battle itself. of all the trips i took with viator this one i should have done something else with my money.
