Comience su experiencia para grupos pequeños por la mañana con la recogida en su hotel de Dubái. Suba a bordo de un lujoso vehículo 4x4 con aire acondicionado y disfrute de las vistas mientras deje atrás los rascacielos y se dirige al desierto circundante.
Mientras viaja, escuche a su conductor/guía hablar del amor de la región por la cetrería. Escuche cómo la actividad deriva de una forma de caza beduina, cuando las tribus capturaban sus presas para complementar su dieta con carne.
Tras aproximadamente 40 minutos, llegará a Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, el parque nacional donde tiene lugar la experiencia de cetrería de su grupo pequeño. En primer lugar, realice un recorrido por la fauna y flora a través de la reserva mientras escucha las narraciones sobre los animales y las plantas que crecen en este lugar. Bordee las dunas y observe la fauna local, como el orix árabe, los antílopes, las liebres y los lagartos.
Después, reúnase con uno de los cetreros cualificados de la reserva y comience su experiencia interactiva con una serie de halcones, cernícalos y otras rapaces, todo ello desde una exclusiva experiencia para toda la familia. Con consejos prácticos de su instructor, tome un papel activo en la sesión de entrenamiento diaria de las aves. Póngase un guante de cetrería y vuele las aves desde el puño para recoger comida y volver a la mano.
Durante su sesión de 1.5 a 2 horas, podrá ver las demostraciones de las técnicas de entrenamiento antiguas y modernas y observar las aves que se elevan al cielo y descienden por su cebo. Maravíllese ante su velocidad y escuche al cetrero describir sus instintos innatos de cacería. Cuando termine su sesión, viaje de regreso a su hotel, donde finalizará la excursión.
Excursión con desayuno: haga de su mañana una ocasión más señalada y elija la opción superior, que incluye un desayuno digno de un rey árabe. Antes de su traslado de regreso al hotel de Dubái, viaje a la lujosa Al Maha Desert Resort para tomar el desayuno en el elegante restaurante Al Diwaan del hotel. We were picked up on time from the hotel. Our tour driver and guide and his assistant were both great. We had fun flying falcons, eagle and a large owl. The guide was very informative, helpful and funny. This tour was the highlight of our Dubai trip. Highly recommended.

Absolutely amazing!!! Seeing all the different birds and learning the history and background of the birds was so neat. It started with an early pick-up at the hotel, because the heat can be too much for the birds. We went out to the sanctuary and on the way were able to see the hot air balloons going up. When we made it to the sanctuary, we were able to watch the sun fully rise over the dunes. So pretty!! After that, we went to the small camp and enjoyed dates and coffee while everything was set up. Then we got to meet each of the birds and see them fly and have them take food from us. My favourite was the owl but they were all gorgeous. After a nice length of time with the birds, we then went to a souk that specializes in everything falconry, including birds. That was so neat to see. Then it was back to the hotel. Overall an amazing experience!!!

DO NOT MISS THIS. We have been in the Galapagos swimming with penguins and 10 feet from cheetahs in South Africa and this rivals that experience. To see these birds fly, hunt and land on your arm is beyond magical. There was a beautiful eagle in the car when we were picked up at 5 AM and then we met an owl, 2 falcons and a Harris hawk at sunrise where we watched the mist lift from the desert floor. So well done and so interesting. And the luxurious breakfast at the exclusive resort was the perfect ending. Thank you Brian, Khan and Royal Shaheen.

A Perfect day out in Dubai. Great service from Henry and a fabulous and memorable day with the amazing birds! The knowledge and expertise from the Royal Shaheen team was terrific. Absolutely a 'must do' while visiting Dubai!

There should be a sixth star for this experience! From the moment we were picked up at our hotel at 5am in a 4x4 with an eagle in the back, to the moment we were returned, we were treated to the most informative, enjoyable, and inspirational experience. This wasn't just a birds of prey experience, our guide was charming, informative, patient with our questions, took the time to ensure we saw the desert and surroundings through his eyes. Once we got to the 'event site' we were greeted by more birds of prey and the traditional half-filled cup of qahweh with sweet dates and then followed a most excellent bird of prey experience. We were privilidged to be able to have two owls fly between us and land on our gloved arms, demonstrations of traditional and modern training methods of falcons and ending up with being allowed to have an eagle - the chap that had travelled with us in the car - fly from a perch to our arms - awesome. Breakfast at Al Maha Desert Resort was very welcome, beautifully presented and served overlooking the desert and then all too soon we were courteously driven back to our hotel. This company specialise in small groups so that all are able to participate fully. Absolutely the best.
