Salga de su hotel en el centro de Dubái en un cómodo Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon con aire acondicionado y disfrute de las vistas mientras viaja por las dunas del desierto que rodea la ciudad.
Después de una hora aproximadamente, llegará a la Reserva de conservación del desierto de Dubái. Este impresionante lugar, primer parque nacional de los Emiratos Árabes Unidos, se creó para ayudar a preservar el exclusivo hábitat del desierto de la zona y los cientos de animales, aves y especies de plantas viven en él. A su llegada, suba a bordo de superelegante Mercedes-Benz G Wagon con un guía profesional del safari al volante y comience el recorrido en coche por la reserva.
Mientras viaja, escuche interesantes datos sobre el frágil ecosistema y observe los animales con los prismáticos de alta calidad proporcionados. Entre las especies que podrá divisar se encuentra el raro ónice de Arabia, los varanos del desierto, las gacelas y el esquivo gato salvaje de Gordon. Tenga a mano su cámara para grabar todo lo que vea. El guía también le señalará las especies vegetales autóctonas y le contará cómo las han usado los beduinos a lo largo de las épocas para cocinar y con fines medicinales.
Después de uno 90 minutos de trayecto en coche, se dirigirá a Al Maha Desert Resort, un exclusivo hotel and spa situado dentro de la reserva. Aquí, se sentará para tomar unos tentempiés ligeros, como pasteles surtidos, scones y otros bocados, acompañados de zumo recién hecho, café o té. Converse sobre su expedición en el desierto y sumérjase en los mágicos paisajes mientras se relaja.
Después, suba a su minivan para el viaje de regreso a Dubái, donde finaliza el recorrido con el traslado de vuelta al hotel.

nice trip in desert among oryx and gazelle. Nice view from Al Maha during breakfast that we shared with gazelle !

Great area full of Oryx. Nice breakfast at Al Maha. Two big blights. We shared a car with 2 others which meant as we were picked up second one of us had to sit in the middle. Which is both uncomfortable and restricts the viewing and also reduces the opportunity's for photography. The tour guide should ensure that seats are rotated so every one has a chance to sit in good viewing seats. Alternatively provide a vehicle that ensures that everyone gets a window seat. Speaking of photography there wasn't a lot of effort made to ensure we had every opportunity to take photos of the wildlife.

A great first experience in the desert. Short and sweet. The car was very comfortable Range Rover and well suited to the drive through the dunes. The driver gave good information on Dubai and the desert. I thought the actual experience would be a little more sporty, but in fact it was leisurely. The highlight is the breakfast at the Al Maha Resort - plentiful, high quality and with a view on the desert. Highly recommended. I just take away one star because I thought it would be a little more exciting.

We loved this tour and breakfast at Al Maha Resort was just wonderful. Food and service were excellent. We have an interest in the wildlife and as constructive criticism perhaps the guides need to have a better understanding how to approach wildlife so that photographs could be taken before the animals were scared away. We felt a little rushed on occasion. But overall it was as we hoped it would be.

My family enjoyed this conservation drive. The tour guide Sharif was professional, friendly and informative. There were plenty of opportunity to take photographs of the peaceful, scenic desert environment. The only critique is that sightings of any wildlife was few and far between and this was disappointing. If it wasn't for Sharif's engaging conversation this would have just been an expensive drive through the desert. The food in Al Maha Resort was lovely. The staff were nice too. They gave us a menu and told us to order anything on it. The service there was really good. In total, I am glad I booked this tour for my family.

This tour was really good. Eric our guide was knowledgeable, humorous and friendly. He took us to the camel race tracks although it was not a part of the tour. The break fast at Almaha resort was very nice.

Everything was excellent--Sharraf the guide, the wonderful drive through the desert and the very tasty breakfast. It was a highlight of our holiday.
