Este es un gran recorrido de un día al condado de Wicklow, con una visita guiada a pie y un panorámico viaje hacia el Parque Nacional y una visita a Glendalough. Después de su recogida en Dublín a las 9.35 h, realizará un viaje hacia el sur por una excursión panorámica en Wicklow.

Cuando llegue al condado de Wicklow desde Dublín, el guía le llevará a una visita guiada por la pintoresca zona conocida localmente como “Spinc”. El recorrido a pie es de 1,5 h siguiendo parte de la montaña de Dublín a través de un bosque caducifolio y se adentra en una maravillosa vista con fantásticos panoramas al otro lado del sur de Dublín, al norte de Wicklow y la costa irlandesa.

Después del recorrido, tomará el almuerzo en el pueblo de Enniskerry. Este es un pequeño pueblo de estilo victoriano, utilizado como lugar de rodaje en "Tenías que ser tú " y "Posdata: Te quiero".

A las 13.30 h el recorrido continúa a través del Parque Nacional de las montañas de Wicklow, Glencree, Lough Tay, Guinness Estate, Sally's Gap (“Brave Heart”) (con paradas a lo largo del camino) hacia Glendalough.

Alrededor de las 15.00 h, llegará a Glendalough y al sitio monástico del siglo VI de San Kevin. Tendrá aproximadamente 1,5 horas aquí para disfrutar de un paseo o relájese y disfrute de los lugares de interés en este hermoso valle. A las 16.30 h, el tour hará su camino de regreso a Dublín en una ruta panorámica. diferente.

Robbert was a great tour guide with many funny anecdotes. Great story teller! Beautiful sights and views in the mountains and at the lakes. Learned quite some about Irish history as well. Would highly recommend!

My most favorite part of the trip was our first stop in Glendalough, even though we had only 1 hour to see everything (I had to power walk/run to make it happen) and I think we should have had ideally 1.5 hours there to not feel pressure to be late. Another interesting place was Guinness Lake, while everything that came afterwards, was a bit boring. My least favorite part was hiking, so for the next time I would probably only stick to Glendalough and go somewhere else for the rest of the day.

Great tour, would highly recommend. Scenic drive from Dublin, with commentary from our guide Robin. Followed by mountain walk, stop over for lunch and tour of Glendalough. Robin has great knowledge of the area and shares this with enthusiasm.

Our group of 6 people loved our day trip to Wicklow and Glendalough!! The scenery was beautiful and the hikes took us to beautiful vistas. The food at the lunch stop was fresh and delicious with lots of nice salad side options. The Guinness Lake area was a highlight! Our guide Robert was fun and funny and a wealth of knowkedge! I definitely recommend this day trip
