Our guide Tiana was excellent, professional and charming. The vehicle was comfortable, perfect size group. The tour of Mostar was very good. The walk up to the bridge is reminiscent of a Turkish bazaar. An excellent experience. Our guide in the town was very good.
Lots of border crossings to get there but not as laboured as Montenegro. Mostar is a lovely day out kinda place. Avoid Kravice like the plague (which you can probably catch there without any great difficulty)
I would do this trip again. Over and over to be honest. The driver and the lady on the tour bus were awesome and moved us through the borders quickly. We were given ample time both at Kravice and in Mostar. I wish that Kravice was after Mostar to be honest because it was SO hot that the dip after would have been really useful. Also, the local tour guide in Mostar was awesome I believe his name was Alica. He was funny and informative and got through the information quickly so we could all go venture independently. I would do this trip again!
We loved the tour. They were prompt and the guide explained everything really nicely. The waterfalls were gorgeous and super refreshing on a hot summer day. Mostar was gorgeous. We really enjoyed exploring the town. The food was delicious and the views were gorgeous. You can skip the Turkish House, better to use your time exploring Mostar. Unfortunately the AC on the bus only worked for the first hour of the day. After which everyone was sweating and feeling sick from the heat. It was unbearable and I felt the result of heat exhaustion for the next few days and got a fever. The tour was great, but not having on AC on a 35C day ruined the experience for us.
We were picked up next to our doorsteps before 8 o’clock and the vehicle was quite comfy and convenient. We we’re so lucky with all the border controls in the morning and in the afternoon since we didn’t spend so much time during inspections. We visited Kravice Falls and Old city of Mostar and I must say, it was all breathtaking and worth every penny you spend in the trip. Our tour guide (Doris) was excellent and very entertaining during our trip. This is a must do in case you have a day to spare while visiting Dubrovnik. We did the day tour to Montenegro too.. it was brilliant!
Fantastic day out, picked up on time in the morning, guide was pleasant and knowledgeable, the waterfalls are beautiful but for me Mostar was the favourite, it can be a bit precarious walking on the cobblestones so you need to take care and the bridge is slippery but I felt this all added to the charm, it's just lovely walking past all the colourful little shops and stalls, we climbed the 100 or so steps to the top of a mosque for an amazing view of the bridges, It's a great day out, Again vehicle a little cramped for the distance, but would still do this trip again.
Very well run tour. Great hosts, tour guide full of interesting information. Mostar itself is a very interesting place and definitely worth a visit!
our guide is very punctual and informative throughout the journey. |Not to mention our awesome driver as he did excellent service to ensure a seamless journey. i got to mention our site guide in mostar from fortuna agency, his name is Tarik. Our tour couldn't be better because of his funny character and interesting stories. He speak fluent english and we did enjoy his companionship throughout the tour. bravo!
Really enjoyed this tour but would defined recommend that you be in decent shape to walk the falls and Mostar if going in summer! Guide was great and atmosphere nice!
Everything was great.. The trip was well organized,on time and the time we had was enough in Kravice waterfalls as well as in Mostar. Our guide on the bus as well as in Mostar were super friendly and helpful. I totally recomend it.
I didn't know what to expect but it was simply marvellous! I went in March, off-peak season but it turned out perfect because the weather was nice (not too warm or cold) and the places were not crowded at all. Crevice waterfalls are just a gem. I didn't want to leave! And Mostar, what a beautiful little town. The 2 hours drive to and 2 hours back were little boring of course but our guide told us the history of the region in that time. Also, the passport controls are a drag but it was much easier due to off-peak season. This was the highlight of my trip to Dubrovnik. High recommended!!!
It was a pleasure to have this trip. At first, we were very pleased by Viator customer service which helped us find a trip just the evening before. On such a short notice the travel agent Select Dubrovnik managed a special, individual trip, despite the fact that we paid for a small group. We had our great guide and driver - Davor - exclusively. Thanks to him the trip was filled with lots of interesting information about places we visited (via 3 borders we passed that day). Everything was organised very well, on time and according to schedule. We could enjoy our sightseeing comfortably and gain lots of Balkan unforgettable stories! We can definitely reccommend this attraction.
The trip was just as described in the description. I really would recommend this trip to anyone. It was well worth it and the amount of time we had at each stop was enough and well thought through. During the drives, our tour guide also gave us some historical insight about certain landmarks, Islands, towns, etc. On our return, there was complications beyond our control at the borders so we got back to our hotel at like 19:30 but that was totally fine as we had no other plans for the day. I fully enjoyed it .
It was a long trip to and from Mostar for the day, but an interesting one. The good restaurants book up quickly for lunch, so try to eat early. The mosques were interesting to visit. The Turkish house was a bit crowded, so we did not see the whole thing. Nonetheless, it looked interesting. The famous bridge is very crowded at times when the tour groups are there, but the second time around it was less so. The water falls are not very big but nice to see for a break on the way to Mostar. You can have something to drink there and see the falls at a little cafe.
Due to a quirk of geopolitics, this tour requires you to pass through the Croatian-Bosnian border six times in total, which prolongs the journey time. There was not nearly enough time in Mostar, and I felt the Turkish house was an unnecessary and unimpressive detour - the time would be better spent exploring the area around the famous Old Bridge. Both the Croatian guide and local Mostar guide were good though.
The Falls are amazing - make sure you bring your swim suit although it is cold! A slight gripe is that entrance to the Falls is extra and not included in then price. The tour is an amazing way to see the countryside around Dubrovnik and Mostar is a facilitating place to visit. My only criticism is that you needed longer in Mostar and in hindsight much as the tour was interesting, I would have skipped it to have more time to look around. By the time you finish the tour and have some lunch, its only 30 minutes before you have to leave and so limited time to explore thew bazaars and interesting locations.
If you are in Dubrovnik and don't have much time to visit Bosnia, this one day trip is great alternative. Especially Kravice waterfall was amazing. The tour was arranged very nicely. Our guide was very efficient and took care of everything in a very organized manner such as she collected the fee for waterfall entry in advance that saved time for all passanger and she stayed back to take care of paying the entry fee. She knew a lot of history of Dubrovnik and Bosnia that helped us understand the history better. One thing to note is that we went in August and it was really hot that day, so please take a lot of water with you so you can keep yourself hydrated. Overall, it was a very well organized trip.
