It was a great experience , we had a very knowledgeable guide who spoke so many languages and knew everything there was to know about the areas we visited. He and the driver were fantastic, The only problem was that our vcan was too small for the number of people we had. I wish it had been a larger can, I felt very closed in, as we were full to capacity. The waterfalls was excellent, wish we had more time there , the stop for lunch was a great place to shop, especially if you like embroidered table cloths, excellent work and very reasonable , If I had room in my suite case I would of bought all my Xmas gifts here, I know my friends would of loved one of those table cloths, they had every size and shape you can imagine with beautiful designs and intricate work. Be sure to same room in your suite case .
The good stuff - lovely day out to Bosnia and Herzegovina with a very informative guide which we thoroughly enjoyed. It was a small tour in a minivan and we were able to go off and do our own thing at each stop. The less good stuff 1. The day before the excursion, I still hadn't got a time and place for pick-up, which I'd asked for several times. It was finally confirmed at about 3.30pm 2. This wasn't the itinerary we booked!! I specifically booked a trip to Mostar that took in Počitelj and not Medjugorje. The latter is of pretty much zero interest for those of us without faith but we spent 45 mins there. We also only saw Počitelj from the bus on the way home. We also went to Kravica waterfalls which again was not in the itinerary I booked. As it so happens, this was a pleasant stop so no harm but seriously - I expect to get the itinerary I booked!!
A fantastic tour. Well worth booking this your. Many highlights. A good balance of guided touring and free time to explore.
The van used to transport the group from Dubrovnik to Mostar was old, not comfortable and the airconditioning did not work properly. The countryside on the way however, was beautiful and the time in Mostar was amazing. The tour leader I did not think was particularly interested in ensuring the group enjoyed the day and gave just the barest amount of information. I would definitely recommend a day tour to Mostar but perhaps in a larger group so that the transportation is more comfortable for such a long journey.
This tour was not at the normal standard for a tour booked through viator. Instead of the advertised minivan, four people who were not travelling as a group, were squashed into a small car. This made the long journey most uncomfortable, as there was very little room. When we arrived at Mostar our driver took us to a terrace and pointed out the bridge and a few other buildings. I do not think that this constitutes a tour of the city. I would expect some guiding about the significant building and history. The driver did his best but he was not a guide. Although Mostar is interesting as was Pocitelj, this company needs to deliver on what they advertise.
