It was a wonderful and comfortable tour. Although we started off a little bit late, our driver Alessio was able to manage it and we arrived Manarola on time to catch the boat. Thank you for Alessio's advance booking for a table for lunch at Vernazza! We took the seats immediately. There was a long queue outside the restaurant during lunch time. The seafood was fresh and we enjoyed the sea breeze. We were all amazed by the spectacular views. We also stopped at Pisa on the way back, making the trip to be more completed. I highly recommend this tour for family with elderlies and children.
We had a wonderful time. The driver Francesco was the best. The view is breathtaking. We really recommend to do this visit to Cinque Terre
This was a fantastic day trip to some spectacular sites. Our tour guide Lucca as very personable and knowledgeable and made it a great day for all. It was nice that all 8 of us could fit in the luxury Mercedes van with ample room and comfort. Being a private tour, Lucca was able to arrange it so that some the group hiked between two of the villages while part of the group enjoyed a longer lunch and shopping in one if the villages. We did the Pisa stop on the way home, climbing the tour and viewing the Cathedral. Adding Pisa makes for a longer day, but very worthwhile.
Leandro was a great guide providing insight and interesting information throughout the day in great English so thanks to him. We truely recommend this trip and were lucky enough to enjoy perfect sunny weather and sea conditions for the boat trip - this is the best way to view the sights. The villages are really beautiful - a good tip would be to skip lunch at a sit down place and catch a bite when exploring - we would chose this option to have more time to browse. Monterossa old part and Manorola were our personal favourites
Lucas was great, a great tour guide. The only thing I would do is make clear that if you go to all 3 towns, you will not have much time in any of them. I would have rather gone to 1 or 2 of the towns and spent more time in them. We also chose to do the boat ride, but would not have taken it if we had known that as seen as we arrived in the 3rd town we would have to leave. We learned alot and had a wonderful lunch with fresh seafood. The little towns were magical and the drive there and back was very interesting due to Lucas knowledge of the area. Lucas was very amenable to all our wishes and as I said the only thing aI would change is just a bit more knowledge on how much time we would have in each town if we did all three towns and then the option to do only 2 if we wanted more time for exploring and shopping. If we do it again we will most definately use Lucas and this tour, but we will spend our time in 1 or 2 of the towns instead of doing all 3 and the boat trip.
Our day trip to Cinque Terre was wonderful. We were 6 ladies from Texas that had never been to Italy and Marco was an excellent guide, a perfect gentleman and took care of all of our needs. He helped us with train tickets and made reservations for us at a wonderful restaurant with a breath taking view. I would have loved to spend more time in Cinque Terre but this was a great first look with hopes to return. I would highly recommend this tour.
