Stop At: Street Food Man, Ho Chi Minh City 700000 Vietnam
Your local street food guide, who has a huge passion with Vietnamese street food will pick you up at your hotel by taxi then leave the tourist area behind and start your food adventure to non-tourist district, a street food paradise, while tasting ‘Banh Xeo” and “Banh Khot” – The Central, and South’s rice pancake with a lot of fresh Vietnamese vegetables.
Walk along BBQ seafood road to visit Mrs. Lieng’s restaurant where a famous food youtuber Mark Wiens, and some of foodie newspapers tried and gave 5 stars for its delicious flavors. You will experience the best “Bo la lot” – beef wrapped in betel leaf. Your immersion in mouth-watering food continues as you head to the alleys of food in the heart of street food district and taste the best Saigon Pizza which is grilled over a wood charcoal.
It wouldn’t be a truly local experience without enjoying sugar can juice mixed with a little orange. You’ll stop by a popular local stall that hides a gourmet sugar cane juice. Next up on your food adventure is the best Banh Mi - Saigon sandwich. You will experience the perfect fusion of 4 delicious flavors just after the first bite.
Walk into the heart of district 3 and discover the old apartments, which has the name Nguyen Thien Thuat, which is home to dozens of famous Vietnamese street food that will tempt your stomach. On the corner of Seafood alley, you will sit like the locals, and get munching, crunching, sipping and slurping the best BBQ seafood (if you are allergic to seafood, it will be replaced by BBQ meat). Have the best drinks with local beer, homemade Vietnamese rice wine, which was made in Street Food Man Vinny's village.
Cap off your Saigon street food tour at the night flower market by enjoying an amazing dessert which is coconut ice cream, avocado ice cream or grilled bananas with coconut milk. Your local guide will take a taxi to go with you get back to your accommodation.

This food tour was great. If your looking for a tour that shows the authentic vietnamese flavours and culture. You will really enjoy this one. They catered for all ages, and the food was amazing. Guides were knowledgable and shared a lot of great facts about the history. Thumbs up all the way.
Shane our host was great. His English is good and he knows the city well. He can tailor the tour based on your food preference, of course its limited to street food of course. He will bring you dow paths that you would likely never venture on your own, why, because its dark, quiet and seems to only lead to no where good! But, eventually he makes a turn and we are at the next destination. So, overall for first time traveler to HCM or Vietnam, it is good. Try to take this tour on the first day before you end up eating some of the food at other time. At least you will get to listen to some history and stories about it first.
A fantastic 4 hours spent walking the streets and alleys of Saigon with our lovely guide Steven. The experience was fantastic from the start.. when we stepped off the plane in Ho Chi Minh we had a confirmation message from our guide providing his number should we have any issues. We were then treated to the sights, sounds and tastes of Saigon with Steven sharing his knowledge and insights into this wonderful city. We tasted at least 8 different dishes/drinks and are still yet to find a Bún bò Huế that is as good as the one we were treated too!!! Highly recommend this tour (And start with an empty stomach!) Thank you Steven and streetfoodman for such a fantastic start to our holiday!!!

The tour was amazing - especially the guide. She answered million of our questions and made this tour unforgettable!
Nana was an amazing tour guide. She was extremely knowledgeable and so friendly and easy to talk to. We kept in touch after the tour where she gave me suggestions on where to go in my free time around Saigon and also where to eat for certain dishes i was craving. One of the best street food tours I have gone on. 10/10 would recommend.
