Stop At: Chợ Cầu Ông Lãnh, 145 Võ Văn Kiệt, Phường Cầu Ông Lãnh, Quận 1, Hồ Chí Minh, Vietnam
We will pass by this.
Duration: 2 minutes
Stop At: Vietnam Explore, 254 Đường Đề Thám, Phường Phạm Ngũ Lão, Quận 1, Hồ Chí Minh, Vietnam
It wouldn’t be a true local experience without enjoying coffee the way Saigonese coffee aficionados do on a daily basis. We’ll head to a popular local hem of Saigon to enjoy a cup. We’ll show you the local style of taking your coffee and you’ll feel right at home!
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Minh Phượng, 96 Cô Bắc, Phường Cô Giang, Quận 1, Hồ Chí Minh, Vietnam
Next up on our Saigon food adventure is another one of the city’s iconic street food dishes: bo cuon mo chai (barbecued beef meatballs) and fried rice flour cake with egg. These dishes are some of the most popular and preferred dishes by southerners, and you can find them everywhere, from street stalls to fancy restaurants. What makes them so beloved is that the ingredients are so strikingly simple, yet the tastes and flavours are truly unforgettable (we promise).
We’ll cap off our Saigon street food tour with, what else, street beer! At this street beer stall we’ll outfit you with a cold Saigon beer with peanut and rice cracker and taste some deep fried tofu with lemongrass or salted egg yolk with green chili salted. It is the great chance to mingle with locals – not a bad way to end the evening, is it?!

Bic was an excellent walking street food tour guide. We experienced great food, the crazy traffic, the wonderful city of Ho Chi Minh, and great company on this tour. Bic was fun, patient, very knowledgeable, energetic, and lovely to be around. It rained on us for about 30 mins and I thought that was going to ruin the tour; however, Bic did not allow the rain to stop us experiencing the greatness of Ho Chi Minh City. Thank you very much Bic.
Ruby was a fantastic guide and gave insight into the locals' Vietnam. The food was varied, delicious and more than I could eat.
Had high hopes for this tour based on other reviews. Our guide told our small group of three to call him “Fox”, but I don’t know what his real name was. Yes, we ate food. But Fox gave us virtually no explanation, no context, and not much of anything. He’d walk ahead of us and frankly I think he would have just kept walking if we had not followed. Also, he actually ate everything on the tour. Usually the guides don’t eat; I think he did the tour just to have dinner.
Tan was very funny and informative. The food was excellent. We got to walk a bit as well which helped with the fullness factor. The duck was amazing
We had a great time on this tour and our tour guide was fantastic! Highly recommend this tour.
