Private Cu Chi Tunnels Shore Excursion by Speedboat

8:00 am: Your guide welcomes you with your signboard name at cruise port and transfers to your boat at Ho Chi Minh City’s Central Pier.

8:20 am: Depart by boat. A light breakfast of sandwiches or pastries, fresh tropical fruits and Vietnamese coffee (with milk or no milk) is served, as your guide explains rural traditions and aspects of riverbank life.

9:50 am: Arrive at the Cu Chi Tunnels. Watch a brief introductory ‘propaganda’ video to the Cu Chi area.

Cu Chi Tunnels, also called Iron Land, is a huge system of underground tunnels which stretches over 250 km. The network is like a secret city to support the Vietnamese in times of war: storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, also included specially constructed living areas, command centers and innumerable nightmare trap doors to defend itself. Today Cu Chi Tunnels have become a major attraction, giving tourists an unique experience, true feeling of what underground life is like and the strong Spirit of all Vietnamese who died for mother land.

10:00 am: Explore the Tunnels to know how the tunnels were constructed , how people lived there, how they taught their young generation and especially how they against enemy. You will be surprised by Vietnamese patriotism spirit.

12:00 am Enjoy a delicious traditional Vietnamese lunch by the river bank, consisting of authentic fried spring rolls, chicken and beef dishes and soup.

12:30 am Depart Cu Chi and return to Ho Chi Minh City.

14:00 pm: Arrive back at Saigon’s Central Pier. The guide will take you back to your ship by car.
