Snorkeling and Kayaking at Hoi Ha Marine Park

After meeting up at University MTR station we catch a taxi to the tiny village of Hoi Ha, a scenic 40-minute ride.

At the beach we collect the kayaks (included) and get changed into swim suit and put on snorkeling gear (provided: mask, snorkel and flippers; life vests are available on request). The main coral colonies are some 20 minutes kayaking out. Here we can tie the kayaks to one of the mooring buoys, and enter the waters to enjoy the wonderful underwater world.

After about an hour we'll get back on the kayak and head out to a second coral area, a place which has less corals but generally more fish swimming around, for another swim.

Around 13:00 we'll head back to shore to clean up and get changed. From Hoi Ha you can catch minibus 7 to Sai Kung town for buses to Kowloon, or an en route connection to buses to Ma On Shan/Sha Tin MTR.
