2 Days Private Heritage Homestay Tour in Kerala From Cochin

Day 1: Kochi to Palakkad (Vellinezhi ) [150 Kms./approx. 3 ½ Hrs.]

In the morning at 8.00 am, you will be picked up by our chauffeur driven car from the pre-decided point in Cochi city. Board the car and you will be taken to Vellinezhi, a small village in Palakkad district of Kerala. It is a storehouse of natural beauty away from the humdrum of city life. A tranquil and luxurious homestay, Olappamana Mana will be provided for your stay. You can visit its in-house weaving centre and see workers following the traditional Keralan method of weaving. Also see the ritualistic art form Kalam Ezhutthi Pattu, also known as powder drawing. Evening will be free for your leisure time, followed by overnight stay at the homestay.

Day 2: Vellinezhi – Guruvayur – Cochin [160 Kms /approx. 3 ½ Hrs.]

Relish the breakfast, and leave for Guruvayur town to visit the famous Guruvayur Temple. It holds religious importance devoted to Lord Krishna. You will see numerous shops near temple selling premium quality pure silk sarees. Browse the shops and witness the beautiful work on sarees. Afterwards, board the car and you will be driven back to Cochin city followed by drop at your booked hotel or airport in Cochin.
