We were collected from the cruise terminal as arranged. As we drove to the site to pick up the kayaks, Jeffrey was a wealth of information about Montenegro and it’s history which was excellent. The kayaks were fantastic for beginners, very stable and easy to climb into from the water when you jumped in for a swim. The area we paddled was simply amazing, the water was sublime and the scenery spectacular. After finishing the paddle we had a light lunch from a little cafe where we had parked. It was humble and delicious! Totally recommend this tour to anyone. No paddling experience necessary but ability to swim is a definite advantage. Thanks Jeffrey for a great day
This was the most amazing sea kayaking trip I’ve ever done! The Adriatic was a crazy shade of teal/turquoise with crystal clear water so we could see the sandy bottom in the shallows where we swam. The high salt content makes treading water a pleasure (compared with a pool) and the Blue cave is absolutely stunning. There is a lot of motor boat traffic (read stinky gasoline) but in the periods without boats it’s heavenly. Our guides (Dutch and English) took us to the less frequented smaller caves where the tour boats could not get to and we glided into bat caves and awesome deep blue. The weather was perfect. We could hop out of the kayaks and swim anytime and anyplace. The guides were super laid back and patient. Our row to the caves and back was about half hour and the water was pretty calm. The bus drive to the launch site was winding but the guides were careful drivers and no one got car sick. There were showers available at the camp site when we got back and extra swimming time which was perfect. Only down side was I only saw one fish! As compared to the pacific this ocean has been over fished. Not no muddy rivers to spoil the clear waters. Overall an amazing experience!!
We actually missed the excursion due to timing but the people gave us a different excursion so we didn't loose all our money.
Outstanding excursion. The guides were great - very friendly and knowledgeable. The Blue Cave was spectacular, but another cave we visited was even better. That one was too small for the power boats, so more peaceful and pleasant. Bring your waterproof camera!
Awesome!! This trip was a highlight of our 2mths away. Bojan, one of the company owners, is the nicest guy and just wants you to have fun and experience his country and culture. We did 2 trips with Montenegro and would do another 20! Nothing was a problem. Great company, professional, friendly and welcoming. The blue caves are something everyone should experience. The kayak to the caves is a little strenuous but the guides help out people who need it. The water is crystal clear and the caves are phenomenal. We would do this trip again. Thanks Bojan - you made our trip with your enthusiasm and great fun personality.
Kayaking was so much fun and Blue Cave was beautiful. Too many boats to swim though. The tour guides were amazing and provided much Montenegro info along the drive. The ride to kayaking is about 30 min. My only recommendation would be to provide directions to meeting location. It was hard to find.
