Everything went to plan, the driver was very helpful and could not have done a better job. The day although slightly rushed as there are so many people visiting was excellent. I could go again as there is more to see. Glad I made the effort. Worth going 100%
We booked the private transfer and guided tour of Auschwitz. The taxi driver was very polite, helpful, explained how the day trip would work and was generally very informative. When we got to Auschwitz we were put in a group of approx 12 people along with the English speaking guide. The guide was very knowledgeable, approachable and generally helpful and i would recommend this company.
Having been on a tour of a concentration camp near Berlin, i was excited to see this one as i am very interested in this history. I was unfortunately disappointed as the Camp near Berlin was a lot more detailed, showed many more actual things (like actual prisoners clothes and the various stars and other shapes etc, along with the actual gas chambers and crematoriums) and as a result conveyed the horror of the time in such a way as to make you actually feel it. The guide for this tours camps spoke in a very hushed and dramatic voice but again told us nothing that we didn't already know from guide books and tv. The transfer was great, very comfortable and clean, well driven and efficient. I would however recommend that you go see the camp near Berlin for a better idea of what the time was actually like.
From pickup at our hotel the service was excellent. Our driver was polite and very knowledgeable about the area. We met up with the tour guide outside the museum. Magda was brilliant. And a wealth of information . She explained every exhibit to us. After a short break we went to Birkenau. Another harrowing experience. And again Magda was the perfect guide. Our drive back to Krakow was quieter due to the thought provoking things we had seen. Would highly recommend this trip
Excellent service driver very professional and tour guide very knowledgable and passionate about subject would recommend
I was slightly hesitant to visit Auschwitz, but felt I would regret not going. The day started when we were picked up at the hotel by a very friendly driver who explained, how long the journey would take and exactly what we could expect, he also explained what we could or could not do.The guide who took over was again very approachable and explained everything extremely well, I found myself completely in awe of the bravery of the victims and the survivors, they do show exactly what happened and some of the exhibits illustrate the sheer brutality,Overall the day was informative and I was left with a greater understanding of exactly what occurred. The message was this can never happen again, and these people suffered and died so we can live the way we do.Well worth going, an education
Really good driver and guide. Extremely knowledgeable. Really friendly. I would highly recommend this tour.
Though emotional and thought provoking this trip is worth it. From the moment we were picked up by our driver Michael, we were treated to a wonderful day. Michael informed us on how they day would work, always made sure we were in the right place at the right time, and gave us additional useful information. For example toilets, café, shops to buy drinks etc. The trip back to the hotel, about 1hr 30 mins was were Michael shrined. He gave us information on the history of the area and was very passionate about his home country. 5 Star for the trip and 5Star for Michael!
