It's expensive and long and probably more geared towards their Mandarin speaking target audience but it was all worth the money.
The problems started even before the tour began. I called the tour operator the previous evening to check our pickup location. They had used a default location which I wanted changed to be close to our place of stay. The representative I spoke to confirmed the change. I asked whether I would get a message with driver/guide and bus details since that had happened on my prior Grand Canyon tour but I was told - no just show up at the pickup location. When we reached our changed pickup location next morning before time, we saw a CHD local tour operator bus. When we tried to board, the driver just gestured to us and drove away. I panicked and called the operator who said another bus would be coming soon. It did come but it was almost full and when we asked the guide whether this was our bus, he told us we ought to have been at another pickup point. When I said, it had been changed, he commented that he was not informed. Our party of 3 could find only single scattered seats in the bus and had to request other passengers to move so we could sit closer together. Here I must say, that Antelope Canyon itself is amazing and the Navajo guide was great. The next shock for us was lunchtime. We are vegetarians and had requested a vegetarian lunch. They had none and again the guide said - I was not told. To his credit, Freddie, our guide, made it a point to specially go and organize some food for us. Our horrors were not yet over. After a long and tiring day, as we relaxed on our journey back to Vegas, our bus broke down. The operator, CHD, made all the passengers of our bus board the next CHD bus coming on that route. This meant 2 busloads of people were now in one bus. Only the very elderly and kids could find seats. The rest of us stood and traveled for 2 hours - packed like sardines. Thankfully, closer to Vegas, another empty bus met us so we could sit and travel the remaining distance. So, if CHD is the local operator, I'd definitely say, look for another tour.
Do not buy this tour! After posting my pictures I had many people reaching out to me to do the same tour. One of my friends found THIS exact tour for around 60 dollars less. Whoever is running this here is just rebooking through the other site and pocketing the money!
Visit to Antelope Canyon is breathtaking! The bus ride from Las Vegas is long, but I knew that going into this. So be prepared for about 5 hours each way. Our Guide was from China, as is the company operators, and most of the tourist. With that said, while our guide was great, she was very hard to understand most of the time...lost in translation. Final note: at our first stop, the guide told us we had to pay 10 PP bus driver surcharge. When I refused, she told me it is their website. I told her I booked through Viator and no such fees are listed. She was insistent, so I paid the 20 for 2 of us... just be aware of this.
If you’re looking for a comfortable bus ride from each pt, it’s fine. The tour guide @ the Canyon was also fine. If you’re trying to learn something from the tour guide on the drives, then this is not for you. Her English made it difficult to understand anything. Bfast and lunch weren’t good.
