a very professional Tour. The Guide told us a lot of stories. He was not only a Driver. He looked, what we want to have and makes some stops for restrooms. It was a great experience!
Bill was an amazing tour guide! He was very knowledgeable and I loved that our tour was 12 people. The day was packed but very well paced.... the tour exceeded my expectations! I was curious what this was going to be (although, I am a seasoned Viator user) as I was celebrating my dad's 65th birthday with a trip. He had never done anything like this and was very impressed with how smooth, professional, and spectacular everything was. Honestly, it was run so well. Again, Bill was fabulous!
Great trip, our guide Peter was excellent. We had people doing both the helicopter and non helicopter option and that was handled very easily.
On the day we were meant to go on our trip the weather was against us, Julian our guide still gave us the breakfast so we had not got up in vain!! Adventure Photo Tours offered us the opportunity to go on the following day or have a full refund, we opted to try for the following day! Good choice!! Our guide Chris Jones collected us on time from our hotel, and we proceeded on our tour! The weather was great and first stop Hoover dam! we had ample opportunity to get some good photos of the area! Next Joshua tree farm, again ample time to get in a look around! We then arrived for the highlight, the helicopter ride over the Grand Canyons West rim!! After checking in the pilot arrived and introduced himself, following a safety briefing we boarded the helicopter! The pilot,Tim a very experienced and professional man made you feel very safe! After landing at the base of the canyon we had loads of time to get in several photos! The flight out of the canyon was as exciting as going in!! We then had views from both the Eagle and Guano points! Lunch was provided at a ranch, this is the home of the Native American Hualapai people!! The lunch provided was excellent, choice of chicken or ribs. Either is very filling!! The journey home was relaxing after an eventful day, we were provided throughout the trip with plenty to drink and biscuit snacks! Chris was a very intentive and knowledgeable guide and wherever we went he was able to explain what we were seeing, often in a humorous way! Overall a very worthwhile day out!!!
We visited on Thanksgiving day Nov 2018. We were staying at Ceasar's palace. The pick was on time as stated. Total number in the Mercedes Sprinter was only 12 (max is 14) which was perfect. After our pick up there were 2 others and we were off on our trip. No wasted time for shuttle transfers etc. either as we went to all the spots in our own vehicle (could leave our belongings there as well as it would be locked up when we got down) First was the stop at Hoover dam about 15 mins which is ample time for pics. We had chosen the helicopter tour of the canyon which was a great experience (about 30-40 mins total) which we finished first and met up with the rest of the group at the ranch. After a hot lunch which was very good we headed to the canyon and spent about 3-3.5 hrs. total walking around/hiking at Guano point. On our way back we stopped at Joshua forest for beautiful pics. We were back in Las Vegas by 5 pm (Total 10-10.5 hrs) and did not feel rushed in any way. Chris our driver and guide was wonderful. He was very cheerful all day even though he had to be away from his family on the holiday--clearly her loved what he did. Very informative about the area/events/history-even the flora and fauna. It was our kids first visit to the Canyon and they enjoyed it thoroughly (not easy to please teens as everybody knows!) We had a great time as well and learnt a lot of new things even though we have been there before. The journey was comfortable and breakfast/lunch and plenty of water was provided. Thank you Chris and Adventure Photo tours for a well organized trip and a memorable experience.
Everything was absolutely perfect! Transportation arrived on time. Tour guide was fun, knowledgeable, professional, and courteous!
Great guide, fantastic experience and amazing views. The trip covered all the main spots I wanted to see and was informative. The guide was very helpful, for example he went out of his way to find us some bighorn sheep before the tour ended. It was my first ever helicopter trip and I found it an amazing experience giving amazing views of the canyon. I would recommend this trip.
This was a great day. The Helicopter ride is very awesome, but the Grand Canyon was far more impressive from the top then from the bottom! Every aspect of the day was truly memorable, I even seen a marriage proposal! Make sure you make a stop by the magic parlor while visiting the ranch! Mark Crowe had coin and card tricks that were so unreal!
We were picked up on time and our trip was pleasant. The copter ride was awesome! The pilot was informative about the flight and very accommodating. Of course, the view was awesome! We didn’t have enough time to go to the ranch. I would have liked the time to do the zip line. Overall great experience! I would recommend it.
Four of us did the trip and had an absolutely great driver, knowledge imparter, comedian Barry. Out breakfast was on the seat as we got in, water available all day. Barry pointed out so many things to us, was able to answer all questions. Stop at the Hoover Dam was interesting and time for pictures and walk about. Stop at the Joshua tree was amazing, seeing the trees, other cactus, fresh dung, holes dug into the ground. The helicopter trip with Jamison as our pilot was fantastic. Most of this was our first ride. No one fainted, yelled or passed out!!!! Heading over the first edge, banking around the outputting rocks was amazing and scary at the same time. The views were breathtaking and were able to keep you well occupied. The ability to walk around the bottom, see the landscape, take pictures was amazing. Back up top, the lunch in the western set up town was great beans, ribs, coleslaw etc. Drives to three sites to see various angles of the canyon and the great river below. Drive home through the dessert, a few of the local towns Boulder, Henderson was interesting. Maureen W
