Reúnase con su guía privado en Lisboa y viaje a Cheleiros, una antigua iglesia parroquial que se remonta al año 1304. En esta zona se desarrollaron algunas de las primeras comunidades prehistóricas y muchas de las civilizaciones del pasado, principalmente la romana. Disfrute de la oportunidad de probar algunos de los muchos vinos de la región, entre ellos los producidos por pequeños productores locales. Con el propósito de revivir la industria vinícola local, las familias locales usan varietales de uvas portuguesas, como el vino blanco hecho exclusivamente con uvas Jampal. Pruebe seis vinos diferentes que proceden desde Lisboa, al Duero o la Península de Setúbal. Antes de marcharse, pruebe el delicioso aceite de oliva y el pan tradicional de la región.

Después, viaje a Quinta da Murta en Bucelas y pruebe el denominado "príncipe del vino portugués", el famoso vino blanco seco producido a partir de la variedad de uva Arinto. La variedad Arinto llegó por primera vez a la región gracias a los romanos hace más de 2000 años y aún se cultiva hoy en día. Durante muchos siglos fue el único vino blanco de Portugal. Cate 3 vinos diferentes de esta región y disfrute del espectacular paisaje que le rodea.

Antes de regresar a Lisboa, pruebe vinos diferentes de São Gabriel, que reciben su nombre de la insignia de Vasco de Gama. Durante todo el recorrido, pase tiempo visitando pequeños pueblos y conociendo la historia de las regiones.

Our tour guide, Paulo, was excellent! He picked us up from our Lisbon apartment and as we were leaving Lisbon, he recommended restaurants to visit as well as attractions to see which were very close to our location. He was very knowledgeable about Portugal as well as this wine region. We visited Mafra and had a very good typical Portuguese lunch at a local restaurant. During the day, we visited two wineries where we tasted their wine and were given a history of the winery as well as a description of their wine production. We were very impressed with the winery choices and we would definitely recommend this tour!

This was a great tour and if you are a wine loving person you should absolutely do! Our guide was very knowledgeable and informative and the 2 wineries we visited had excellent samples and winemakers who gave us the low down on the grapes, climate and ratings of each. It was a great afternoon and would highly recommend!

We had a fantastic day with Joao from TakingUThere, visiting two gorgeous vineyards within the Lisbon area. The private vineyard tours were really informative and interesting - and really fun! - and the wine we was fantastic. We also made a quick stop in Mafra to see the palace and learn a bit about the town. Joao is extremely personable and knowledgeable about Portugal, which made the time spent driving pass very quickly. Overall, it was a perfect day - and a great value!

AMAZING day!!! A must when visiting Lisbon....Joao was a great guide! Knowledgeable and eager to please - it was so nice to have personalized service.... the vineyards are simply beautiful and the wine is divine! The sommeliers at the vineyards were passionate and excited to host us. It was a special experience and highlight of our trip!

We had an amazing wine tour with Paolo, covering two vineyards and several stops along the countryside to get a better feel for the areas we were visiting. Paolo is a great guide - he is very informative, makes you feel comfortable, and wants you to have the best day possible by catering the tour to your preferences. At lunch, Paolo got a local restaurant recommendation, and helped us order some local favorites. Definitely recommend this tour, it was one of our favorite days of the whole trip!

This trip is fantastic and we could not have loved Paulo more as our tour guide. He goes out of his way to make sure you understand the history and culture of Portugal all while drinking delious wines. Would recommend this trip to anyone!
