Después del servicio de recogida en el centro de Londres, saldrá para Cardiff, Gales. Habrá un descanso de 45 minutos en los servicios por el camino. Se le unirá un guía galés y llegará a Cardiff, donde le llevarán a un recorrido por la ciudad. El guía le indicará algunas de las principales atracciones y lugares de interés, como el Castillo de Cardiff y el Museo Nacional. En torno a la 13.30 h, una vez terminada la excursión, disfrute de una hora de tiempo libre para echar un vistazo por Cardiff y tal vez tomar el almuerzo. Hay muchos restaurantes y cafeterías a lo largo de la Bahía de Cardiff con unas vistas maravillosas.

Aproximadamente a las 14.30 h, saldrá desde el centro de la ciudad hacia el Castillo de Caerphilly (o al Castillo de Cardiff en algunas fechas). El castillo fue construido por Gilbert de Clare en el siglo XIII, y con 30 hectáreas de tierra es el segundo castillo más grande de Gran Bretaña. A su llegada, le llevarán en una visita a pie y, después, disfrutará de tiempo libre para explorar a su aire la construcción medieval.

Hacia las 16.30 h empezaremos nuestro viaje de vuelta a Londres. Habrá un descanso de 30 minutos en los servicios por el camino de vuelta al punto de partida. Llegaremos al centro de Londres en torno a las 21.00 h.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of this trip. Great driver, tour guide, and we especially liked our introduction to Wales. The added trip to Caerphilly Castle was the topper.

We were looking forward to going, but were disappointed that the bus driver didn’t point out anything (we saw Windsor Castle in the distance.) So there is no tour guide for the 2.5 hour trip there and back (longer back due to traffic.) Our guide was pompous and did not seem to enjoy getting asked questions. He was irritated as it was the same day as the Cheese Festival and so there were big crowds. He was so happy to be done with us—only toured on the bus briefly and then did his shopping in Cardiff; only gave us a quick tour of the castle and we were on our own—maybe that’s the way it was set up, but if he weren’t so irritated, it would have been better. Cardiff has some cute shops and the castle was cool, but better to do Stonehenge or Windsor Castle, which I’ve also done.

The driver took us in the wrong direction all the way to Wolverhampton for the service stuff, and we arrived at Cardiff at around 2:30-2:45 ish instead of 11:45.We only had 30 minutes in the Caerphilly castle and then only got to spend about 1 hr in Cardiff for exploring which was hardly any time. The Caerphilly castle was really impressive. I didnt even get a chance to go inside the Cardiff castle due to time. So we had about 1.5 hrs in Wales total. Cardiff was also very touristy so I was not impressed. Do not go on this trip unless you have not been to many parts of the UK. The rest of my trip was on the bus. I did not pay 56 pounds to ride the bus for 8-9 hours. I probably spent about 12 hours commuting that day. It was just disappointing.

This was a fun day, but I was dropped off at a completely different place than I was picked up, which I was not expecting. I ended up lost in the middle of London. Thankfully I found a policeman to help me find my way. The tour guides were very patient with my mobility needs, though. I do wish more time was spent actually in Cardiff, but the trip to Caerphilly castle was fun, too!

THIS TRIP WAS A BIG MISTAKE. PICK UP AT 7:30 A.M. THEN PICKING UP PEOPLE ALL OVER LONDON FOR THE NEXT HOUR AND A HALF. DRIVING FOUR HOURS TO CARDIFF, SPENDING ONE HOUR IN THE CITY CENTER AND AND A SHORT AREA TOUR BY A DECENT LOCAL TOUR GUIDE FOLLOWED BY EXPLORING THE LARGEST CASTLE IN WALES. WE HAD LITTLE TIME TO WALK AROUND THE CITY AND ONLY SAW CARDIFF CASTLE BY DRIVING BY IT. A LONG 15 HOUR DAY THAT WASN'T WORTH IT. GOT BACK TO LONDON AT 9:30 AT NIGHT. ALL THAT TIME WASTED PICKING PEOPLE UP ALL OVER LONDON AND NO TIME IN CARDIFF.
