This is a great 1-day 2-sites package. I would not recommend more than 2-sites package since the commute to and from London is kind of long and you will be rushed if you do 3 sites. We had ~3 hour in Bath and ~1 hour at Stonehenge. We were a bit rushed at Stonehenge due to the line for the shuttle bus that takes you from the Visitor Center to the site. Our guide was a blue-badge tour guide and she was very knowledgeable, friendly, and entertaining. The bus driver was excellent as well.
Excellent tour; coach was comfortable, although really tall passengers would need more space for legs - our tall party member was OK when we sat in rear seat of coach. Eugene was very helpful and knowledgeable - a delight. Took the baths guided tour and was very pleased. Uneven surfaces in some areas to watch out for.
It was an well organized trip and especially our tour guide Gavin was excellent, I would highly recommend it
Tour guide was great and we had awesome weather, which made the tour even better. Loved Stonehenge and Bath..
Trip was really wonderful. The guide, Leon was friendly, full of humour and shared lots of history of the places we visited.
Had a great time on this trip. Our tour guide Ben and driver James were super! Long day but worth it. We had about 2 hours at Stonehenge and about 4 hours in Bath. I thought that the timings were perfect. We had a chance to do the Roman Baths and Ben did a walking tour for part of the group as well. Ben had great advice on timing our entry into the Roman Baths for the shortest line and suggested several lunch places to have lunch first. His commentary on the bus was great and he gave suggestions on other things to do in London and several travel tips as well. We had no problem finding the gate at Victoria Coach Station and the staff there did a good job of organizing the boarding of the buses. I would use this tour provider again.
The tours were transportation to Stonehenge and Bath and does not include a tour guide presentation at each place, which is just what we wanted. Although their was a tour guide on the bus to “heard the cats and keep us on time, as needed”. My memory boy complaint was there wasn’t enough time at either place to see and read all we wanted to. We don’t rush through sites and there’s enough to see and do at Bath alone to take a day or more. A few hours wasn’t enough. But that wasn’t the fault of the guide. Because of crowds we had to wait for transport buses at Stonehenge and to enter the Roman baths in Bath. This took considerable time away from viewing the sites. Next time a one day tour of each.
I would recommend this tour for multiple reasons. The city of Bath is very cute and fun and Stonehenge is amazing. The bus was comfortable, the tour left and returned on time, and the guide provided interesting and fun facts.
Our family really enjoyed this trip. It allowed ample time to explore the city of bath and included the roman baths and an architectural walking tour provided by the travel guide. The time at Stonehenge was the right amount of time.
The only work the tour guy did was a brief introduction of the tour site on bus, got tickets/ audio, and counted people. I was expecting the tour guy come with us inside and tour us. The size of tour was too big (over 70 people) and hard to manage.
Loved this day trip. The destinations were fabulous and our tour guide, Gavin, was witty, informative, and helpful. I just wish the stops at both locales could have been a bit longer.
Driver and guide fine, and one can’t blame them for the terrible weather. But this company shouldn’t advertise Free WiFi on bus when they don’t provide it.
We had the best time, I highly recommend Clive and Michael, they got us there in plenty of time, Clive went way out of his way to lead my family separately, to the Jane Austin museum - we missed that 2 yrs ago. Great tour; excellent team, great knowledge and humor
We had a great time during this visit and our guide and driver were excellent. They gave us lots of insights and also interacted personally to make us feel comfortable and keep us engaged!
Our guide, Richard, was awesome! Very knowledgeable and entertaining. Tony our bus driver was cool, as well. Perfect amount of time at both stops. Bath is a beautiful city!
Loved every bit of the tour- our guide was warm, friendly and fantastic (sorry I forgot your name, but you have the 'Puurna' tattoo on your arm) Driver Abdul was great too in beating traffic. More than enough time in both the locations- didn't feel rushed at all. 100% recommend.
What a great day from the start ,no problem getting on the bus as long as you listen to instructions given by the staff, stonehenge was just long enough for your photos and to stretch your legs, bath was great but busy beautiful place to visit you could easy spend a few days here .Richard our guide was so english very posh very entertaining Abdul J the driver thank you for getting us there and back ,such skinny roads to navigate well done.Had a great day well worth doing, just be organized listen to instructions and enjoy
This was a great tour! It was just the right amount of time to explore both Stonehenge and Bath - including time to shop, relax and take in the views. The ride was smooth with our driver, Abdul, and our tour guide, Leon, was funny, knowledgeable and easy on the eyes. Highly recommend this trip!
The tour was definitely well organised and professional but I would like to make the following recommendation: The time at stonehenge (90 min) was marginal since the long lines for the buses did not allow any time for a break-coffee and enough time for the shop. A time of 120 min would be more suitable and relaxing. The guide was pleasant, quite helpful and professional. I would definitely recommend the tour without any hesitation.
Making the trek to Stonehenge and Bath on a short visit to London is best to be done with a motor coach that includes a local guide. Easy pick up at Victoria Coach station and drop off near the Victoria Station was a perfect way to maximize our group's time together. Ample free time was scheduled into this tour as well as easy access to the sites with group ticketing provided by our guide. Enjoyed our experience!
Rita and Carlos were both really great. Carlos is a great driver. Rita is a great tour guide, she is very knowledgeable about the history of London. She made the bus ride very comfortable. Make sure to take a jacket or wind breaker as it gets cold and windy at Sone Henge. You will also need a umbrella if it rains. Would definitely recommend doing this tour.
Omar our guide was Great! Very knowledgeable and shared loads of info. Our driver Nino was super friendly and drove so well. We had plenty of time in Bath. Stonehenge was a bit rushed, another 20min would have been great.
Very good trip with an excellent tour guide and driver. Loved Bath more than Stonehenge. Had a lot to see in Bath. Wish we had more time than the 3 hours allotted for Bath. Had some amazing food at the Indian Temptation Restaurant in Bath. Overall, a very pleasant day trip.
Awesome tour and staff attention, really recomend it for the firts time of someone in London. A must do!
If you like to have a break from London , this trip is worthwhile. It's a long day out but the mix of Stonehenge and then Bath is enjoyable.
My family and I took a day trip to Stonehenge and Bath and it all was great!! We all really enjoyed our time at these places and the history is just amazing. The buses were comfortable and our tour guide Peter was just great. The time allotted for everything was just fine for us. I hear some people wanted more time but sometimes it can’t all be done and it’s understandable. We had an amazing time on our trip. Would definitely recommend it!!
Our tour guide was fantastic - very knowledgeable and helpful! However, one of the reasons we booked this tour was because the buses sounded nice - wifi, air conditioned, etc. However, the bus we were on did not have wifi or a bathroom...for our pregnant friend, this was an issue! Overall a good day, but we wish we would have known about these couple of drawbacks.
It was a great trip our leader Sinead and the driver Dexter were excellent. She is clear in her instructions and kind. Dexter safe and competent driver.
The trip was so good. Excellent tour leader also. Enough time at Stonehenge to take pictures and plenty times at Bath to even have lunch. Love this tour. very recommended.
Our guide was excellent. She was very friendly and easy to understand. She made sure we all stayed together and was happy to answer any questions.
If you want to see these amazing places, this is the way to go. Nice comfortable bus (coach) with experienced driver. There was enough time in each destination to experience the area and shop. My only gripe would be with our tour guide who told us some history about the area then said it was false...? Roman Baths were incredible, but seeing Stonehenge was awesome.
Loved finally getting to check Stonehenge off my bucket list! Great driver and tour guide. Sally Lunn’s for lunch or tea is a great idea. Lots of shopping in Bath.
The day went as planned. The weather was nice for March. Leon kept us informed and was brilliant with his history lessons. I think that the tour should have provided bottled water somewhere during the 12 hours we were on the trip. The time allowed in Bath was great, the time in Stonehenge was adequate. I would recommend it.
This was a perfect one day tour! We had Just the right amount of time at both sites. We enjoyed both sites and were glad we ignored the neigh-sayers about Stonehenge. It was a once in a lifetime chance to see it! Our guide Leon was fantastic! We would take another tour with him just for his knowledge and storytelling.
We really enjoyed this trip from London. We rode a double decker bus and had great views of the British countryside. Ben was a phenomenal tour guide. He had lots of useful information along the way, for Stonehenge, and information on Bath. Perfect amount of time to explore Bath on our own. We also added the Roman Bath tour which is essential to a great overall experience. It is a long ride back to London, but well worth it. I highly recommend this tour
Our daughter booked this tour for us to spend a day outside London. The tour guide Benjamin is friendly and gave clear introduction of the sites to us. We enjoyed the tour a lot.
The ride to Stonehedge and Bath were easy and even though we were a but windblown, it was a great day. The tour guide was fun and made sure we understood everything we needed to know. to get around.
Tour guide was very good and accurate and cared a lot about us. We enjoyed the tour very much. Time was all met and he gave us a lot of time to see places on our own as well as a free walking tour was included as well.
