The trip was started with a short history and a panorama view of this splendid city, than we have stopped in the top of the hill to visit Notre Dame de la Garde ( was such a good surprise) than we traveled to Chassis up to the top as the weather was perfect ( 2nd surprise). The guide was very knowledgeable and funny!
This private tour was very nice. We saw many sites in marseille including the Notre dame de la garde. Jeremy has lots of information to give and was a safe driver. The best part was the small quaint town of Cassis. Jeremy took us to the top of the mountain to oversee the town, which was beautiful! The boat tour was optional (~18 euros per person) but definitely worth it! Would highly recommend!
This was worth taking a train ride from Paris to Marseilles. Wonderful views, our tour guide was amazing. Cassis. The Calanques and Calsnques National Park...the views...amazin!
Our guide Matt was great very knowledgeable about Marseilles. The trip was interesting and there were plenty of stops for photographs. The Basilica and the view of Cassis from the top of the mountain were the best. The boats from Cassis to see the Calanques were very busy so we had to wait for a while but it was worth the wait. Many of the boats can take disabled passengers and it is easy to get on. The boats are quite large so that you can take lots of photos and walk around with care whilst in motion. The geology and the limestone cliffs are fantastic.
Gale was such a great tour guide! She took us around all the best parts of Marseille before leaving to go to Cassis. She was so full of knowledge about Marseille! Luckily the winds did not affect our boat ride, but she had several other options lined up in case it was cancelled. The boat ride into the calanques was amazing! Unlike anything we've ever seen before. There was a good amount of driving time on this tour but Gale filled it all in with stories and history. Well worth the money!
This was a really nice tour with a very friendly guide. The boat trip was the highlight of the tour. I would just improve it by allowing costumers to stay for a bit longer in the city of Cassis, but anyways I would highly recommend it!
This was a wonderful tour -- it took us through Marseille, including a stop at the impressive Notre Dame de la Gard, and then to Cassis. From Cassis, we took a delightful boat tour of three impressive calanaques. When we returned to the dock, we had 45 minutes to walk through Cassis and enjoy its ambiance as well as its thriving art scene. We also vanned up a windy road to a national park where we had an incredible vantage point allowed us to look out over the shimmering Mediterranean. Our tour giuide, Ben, was personalable and knowledgeable -- in a couple of languages! Great day.
This was the perfect tour for my first day in Marseille. It took us to key sites within the city and then on a nice drive down to Cassis with a relaxing boat tour through the inlets. What really made it was our OUTSTANDING guide, Victoria. She was SO knowledgeable and personable and her English was excellent. Plus she was very competent driver. I would highly recommend this tour to get started with a visit to Marseille.
Florence was a fantastic tour guide! She was informative, patient and super sweet. The weather did not allow us to take the cruise, but we were able to spend more time in Cassis, which was fantastic. There is no way that we would have been able to see all the sites if we tried to navigate to the same places within the 5.5 hour time block. This is definitely a great way to spend a day in the South of France.
Great way to see Marseille and Cassis if you have limited time. Our guide Florence was very knowledge and gave us ample time at each of the sights to take in an enjoy. An excellent tour
