El viaje con degustación de comida y vinos en la península de Mornington comienza con la recogida en el hotel de la ciudad. Relájese con un viaje panorámico por la bahía de Port Phillip hasta la península de Mornington, uno de los principales destinos de vacaciones costeros de Melbourne.

La primera parada tiene lugar en el punto más alto de la península, Arthurs Seat, desde donde disfrutará de unas magníficas vistas de la bahía de Port Phillip, hasta Melbourne y a lo largo de la costa hacia Portsea.

El recorrido gastronómico continúa a lo largo de las sinuosas carreteras de Arthurs Seat hacia Main Ridge Dairy. Deguste una selección de deliciosos quesos de cabra en esta selecta lechería y observe cómo juegan los encantadores cabritillos.

La siguiente parada es Sunnyridge Strawberry Farm, para probar la fruta en una gran variedad de formas. Deléitese con los vinos y licores de fresa, maride las fresas con chocolate o recoleccione en su cesta sus propias fresas si viene en temporada de cosecha.

A continuación, llega el momento de realizar una cata de vinos en la selecta bodega T'Gallant, situada en un atractivo emplazamiento en las ondulantes colinas, en el centro de la península. Pruebe las variedades chardonnay, pinot noir y otros vinos de clima frío y reciba consejos para la cata en esta bodega de estilo artesano.

Diríjase a una cafetería local del pintoresco pueblo costero de Flinders para almorzar.

Por la tarde, visite la bodega Red Hill Estate para continuar con la cata de vinos y gozar de unas fabulosas vistas del océano desde la hermosa bodega. Después, finalice el recorrido gastronómico por la península de Mornington en el galardonado viñedo Stonier, donde degustará vino espumoso servido con queso y galletas saladas.

Después, relájese en el viaje de regreso a Melbourne.

We thoroughly enjoyed our day out with Driver/Guide Adrian. There was a variety of interesting visits and activities, in a very relaxed schedule. All of the 'tastings' and lunch were delicious. Highly recommended!

The tour was fantastic. Adrian our guide was great and really knowledgeable. It was a fantastic tour that had a bit of everything, cheese, strawberries, cider and wine. Best wine tour I have done so far.

My husband and I took this tour on New Year's Eve and it was a wonderful way to spend the day. The best part of our trip was our guide, Leon, who was not only knowledgable and interesting, but unbelievably kind as well. We were picked up near our apartment and drove about an hour to our first stop at a goat farm for a cheese tasting. You could also order coffee and cheese to take home here there is a cooler in the van to keep it in throughout the day. It was a bit cool when we started out but the sun came out and warmed us considerably by the end of the day. I would recommend bringing both a light jacket and sunglasses/sunscreen. From there, we visited 3 wineries, a chocolate shop where we had a delicious lunch, a cider room for a tasting, and a strawberry farm. The van is a smooth and comfortable ride and the stay at each location was a good amount of time, probably between 30 minutes and an hour each. Leon was kind enough to drop us back in town in spite of the impending New Year's Eve traffic. Once back, we realized we had mistakenly grabbed his bottle of wine instead of our own. As we were leaving town the next day and staying at an apartment instead of a hotel, the trade off was going to be a bit tricky. Leon went above and beyond by meeting us at the restaurant we were having dinner at by bike due to road closures! with our bottle and insisting we keep his to enjoy as well. The entire day was wonderful, but it is really Leon's kindness that stuck in our memories. Thank you, Leon!! Abbey and Ross
