Durante esta divertida excursión repleta de la cultura, de 5 días y 6 noches de duración, descubra todo lo que Ciudad de México, sus alrededores y los monumentos históricos tienen que ofrecerle. Comience con un recorrido en autobús con paradas libres por Ciudad de México, donde podrá visitar hasta 21 atracciones. Se alojará en un hotel de cuatro o cinco estrellas de Ciudad de México durante seis noches mientras explora el centro de México.

Durante sus cinco días de actividad, visitará el Santuario de Guadalupe y continuará hacia el impresionante yacimiento arqueológico de las pirámides de Teotihuacan. Visitará el distrito colonial de Coyoacán, la ciudad de Cuernavaca y el pintoresco pueblo de Taxco. Visitará la ciudad de Cholula y contemplará su gran pirámide (Pirámide Tepanapa) antes de continuar para ver los edificios bellamente esculpidos de Puebla.

Si ya está en México, puede empezar su excursión desde el hotel si está situado en una de las siguientes zonas: centro, Zona Rosa, Avenida Reforma o Polanco.

Mexitours did a great job of operating this tour and our driver, guide Eduardo was excellent. However, we did not realize that for every visit to the colonial cities outside Mexico City, it would be 3 - 4 hours of driving each way and 2 -3 hours visiting the destination. This was not the fault of Mexitours. The problem is the traffic in and around Mexico City. Our hotel, Hampton Inn, was very good and in a perfect location for walking around the historic city center. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. If we had fully realized the problem of driving in and out of the city, we would have chosen a tour that drove to Puebla, Taxco, etc. and stayed for a night. We would have seen and experienced more.

This is one of the best tours I have taken. The tour company is very professional and personable and go out of their way to make sure everything is right for you. Every site visited was stunning. We were fortunate to have the same guide, Umberto, for 3 tours. He was wonderful and extremely knowledgable about Mexico's history.The hotel used was Hampton Inn and Suites in the historic area. The hotel is wonderful and the service provided was first class.

We did the five day tour and most of it was wonderful - especially the guides and the drivers. My only complaint - and it's a big one - is, there was too much time spent shopping. I have no problem with allowing 15 or 20 minutes here or there but I was very disappointed on the day we went to Taxco. We stopped outside of the city at a restaurant and silver shop. We had lunch and then we were given about an hour to buy silver. Fine. But that meant we had less than an hour in Taxco. My husband and I were very disappointed. If we hadn't already paid for the rest of the tour, we would not have continued. Again, the people and the service were great but it was supposed to be a tour, not a shopping trip.

Everything went smoothly from airport pickup to tour arrangements. Though the mix of tourists differed each day, we happened to get the same guide for the 4 escorted trips Miguel - and he was great. We liked the mixture of day trips and time to ourselves. Hotel Hampton Inn was excellent - and location perfect. Tour was an excellent value, costing little more than hotel alone if we had booked it separately.
