Our tour with tour guide Katerina Panayotova was amazing. She was so full of life and details. She really explained things inside the Cathedral so fully. She was very attentive to questions. She even showed us a picture she had on her phone of the crucifixion nail that is kept high above the alter. Continuing on she explained many things during our walk through Milan to the Last Supper. She was very conscious of the time so we would be there in plenty of time for our appointment, yet you did not feel that you were being rushed. At the Last Supper itself, she explained things before we walked into the room. Then in there she brought the painting to life explaining which apostle was where, what their hand gestures signified, etc. Once our 15 minutes with the painting was over, she spent more time in the outer room telling us even more about the history of the painting and how amazing it is that it has even survived at this point. This even extended the time past the 3 hours for the total tour. She was so knowledgeable and nice. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone going to Milan, but be sure to book well in advance!!! Hopefully you will get Katerina too!
Our tour guide was informative, engaging, well-prepared, and knowledgeable. He provided many interesting insights. I would heartily recommend this tour and this guide.
Very nice guide, spoke English very well and kept a good pace. I had already done the Rick Steves walking tour (Duomo, Galeria, la Scala) yet she still provided new and interesting information not in his. This tour does not include the roof climb on the Duomo, recommend buying that separate as it's not to be missed.
Great introduction to Milan and city highlights. Guide was excellent. Very excited about the history. Recommend walking atop the Duomo roof.
Do not use this tour service or take this tour. They did not provide us tickets to The Last Supper and our entire group was left high and dry after walking half way across the city in ninety degree heat. We were all heartbroken that we could not see this attraction. Furthermore, all tickets were sold out for two weeks and no one in our group was able to purchase tickets.
The tour guide has excellent knowledge of Milan. She explained the details clearly. This was hot on that day but worth the money.
Great way to see some of the main city sights and learn some history. Our guide Susanna (hopefully spelled correctly!) was very nice and knowledgeable, strongly recommended!
One of the hardest ticket to get need reservation well way in advance . It was a sight to behold. Although time is very limited but the good part is you have a chance to get up close since the group is limited to 20 people at a time
This tour was such a positive experience, due very much to our most wonderful Guide, Barbara. She was so informative, no notes, very professional. She was also extremely engaging, funny with her little anecdotes, and it was clear how very much she loved her city. Barbara also paced the tour well, with a convenient breaks. The viewing of the Last Supper was like a private one, with just our small party, superb.
The tour starts at the Duomo and ends with the viewing of The Last Supper. Our guide Katerina was most informative. She walked fast between sites but always waited for everyone at street crossings and turns in the way.
was well worth the wait, money and guide wonderful. Tour in English and easy to understand and well paced walking tour as could have been rush but well organised. Just make sure the meeting place on time and ticket as starts at two different places depending on time of day.
Great tour, highly recommend. Very informative without being boring. I learned a lot and got to see quite a bit in a short time.
Our guide was very enthusiastic, very knowledgable and presented the history of Milan in a very entertaining way. A wonderful way of getting an introduction into the complex history of Milan and also seeing the unbelievably beautiful l'ultima cena and the duomo. Thank you!
We booked this tour solely for the Last Supper, this was the best part of the tour however it was at the end and kind of rushed but that is the nature of visiting the painting and no fault of the tour. We started the tour with the guide telling us we may not get into the Duomo which is half the tour itself, luckily we did get in with skip the line but it doesn't seem to be guaranteed. The rest of the tour was walking around the city. The guide provided a lot of information but the headsets don't always work, especially in the very crowded areas.
The tour guide was amazing, extremely informative and I am soooo glad we took this tour. We learned so much more than we would have had we done these attractions on our own. I've taken a few tours in my days and she was truly amazing!
We took the tour on 1/25/19, it worths the value. Our guilder, Katerina, is very knowledgeable and I can’t imagine what our Milan trip would be without this tour. So highly recommend this tour.
Very well organized tour highlighted by viewing “The Last Supper”Well worth it even though it rained thru most of the walking tour.
Excellent guide, terrific tour. Very informative and organized.
We had a very good guide who was quite knowledgeable and this made the walk worthwhile. However we would have liked to see a bit more and possibly with time to visit a few more sites. If you are looking for a cursory view of Milan, this is for you. If you want more depth, then skip it.
Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and personable, making the tour just that much better, She hit all the big data points at each stop but also threw in lots of side stories which enhanced the tour. The Last Supper was, of course,, the big highlight. I should have taken this tour the first day I was in Milan, as it would have given me ideas for the rest of my stay, I highly recommend this tour.
We were late but still able to join the group because there were two representatives waiting for us .... one in line at venue and one outside waiting for possible late comers.... guide was awesome , very knowledgeable and all on time.
This your delivered what it promised. Skip the line at Duomo, with about an hour tour around and inside it. Tour guide was knowledgeable and handled the group well, headsets and earphones provided. The walk also took us through Brera and the Castle, which I have seen/done before but it was still good to have it be part of the tour. The Last Supper is probably the biggest draw to the tour, as it’s tough to get in otherwise. Worth the booking to see that.
Do make sure you know what time you ticket is good and WHERE. There can be confusion with a lack of queues and where you need to line-up. Pay attention to strikes too.
