Acerca de esta actividad
Hell’s Gate National Park is your destination of the day, and this incredible park is roughly two hours away. As you travel gaze out the window, admiring breathtaking views of the Rift Valley. Head inside the park, and then step off your coach to stretch your legs; it’s one of the few parks in Kenya where walking is permitted!
Stroll around the nature park’s trails with your guide, looking out for the park’s countless herbivores that roam the plains freely. Spot African buffaloes, zebras and gazelles as well as colorful birdlife such as vultures and Verreaux’s Eagles. The park also boasts hot springs and spectacular rock formations and cliffs, so have your camera ready to capture all the sights.
Stop for lunch at a restaurant within the park grounds and sample some regional cuisine. As you eat your guide will introduce you to some of the locals, helping to translate so you can chat about the area and the food.
Work off your lunch with a stroll to Elsamere Conservation Center on the shores of Lake Naivasha, and learn about Joy and George Adamson who founded the center and devoted their life to wildlife conservation. Famed locally as a sanctuary for orphaned big cats, the center is also home to a troop of white colobus monkeys as well as several species of rare birds such as Verreaux's Eagle-Owl.
Return to your coach and travel back to central Nairobi. Your tour then finishes at your centrally located hotel.

definitely worth doing. hiked through the park with beautiful views. lunch was good. would definitely recommend it.
This was a fantastic tour of the Hell's Gate National Park! Visiting Elsamere was so surreal. If only there were lions still roaming the grounds. But beautiful, nonetheless. Hell's Gate National Park was quite something. Really enjoyed seeing all of the wildlife. But the hike into the Hell's Gate Gorge was an incredible memory. Only note here is that the information about the tour doesn't quite explain what I was getting myself into. It was not easy to climb in and out and around the gorge. But totally worth the hike! Just be prepared. I wore a white running shirt - bad idea. I was filthy by the time we finished. But loved every minute of the tour. And totally recommend this trip and hike into the gorge for the adventurous types!
