In the morning, your driver and guide will pick you up in an air-conditioned car from your hotel. Start your sightseeing tour by visiting Raj Ghat, located on the banks of the river Yamuna. This is Mahatma Gandhi’s memorial, where he was cremated following his assassination in January 1948. The memorial lies in the midst of landscaped gardens and is made of a simple square platform of black marble inscribed with his last words “Hey Ram”. After Raj Ghat, visit Red Fort (closed on Monday). The 17th-century stunning fortress built in red sandstone is surrounded by a huge, 108-foot boundary wall. Inside are exquisite palaces and beautiful gardens. Opposite the Red Fort lies Jama Masjid (Friday mosque) made of red sandstone and white marble. It is India’s largest mosque where more than 20,000 people can kneel in prayer at one time.
After lunch (at your own expense), visit New Delhi and Humayun’s Tomb, built by Humayun's wife Haji Begum in the 16th century. It is an early example of Mughal architecture considered the predecessor of the Taj Mahal. After Humayun's Tomb visit Qutub Minar which is 237-feet high and is the landmark of Delhi. After Qutub Minar, proceed to drive past the Rashtrapati Bhawan/President's House, the official residence of the President of India. Later visit the India Gate, which commemorates the 70,000 Indian soldiers who died in the 1st World War.
After completing your sightseeing of New and Old Delhi, you will be dropped off back at your hotel in Delhi.

Prepare to spend some time in traffic as distances in Delhi are considerable and rush hour is all day. Had an excellent guide, a very valuable part of the experience is how much perspective on India - history, religion, politics, daily life - you can get from your guide while in the car.
This was a good tour. Pretty informative, wish we had time to see more. Guide spoke good English that for the most part was easy t understand.
Nothing special,seemed a bit rushed.
Our tour leader was very understanding and was able to accommodate to our needs. Enjoyed this trip!
Guide and drivers were on time, what a good way to discover Delhi without the hassle and the fear of being scammed at every corner. Too bad we could not access the Gandhi memorial because of a VIP visit but we saw some fantastic attractions like the Jama Masjid, Qutub minar and Humayun's tomb.
