Recorrido privado de un día a Haridwar y un día desde Delhi
A las 06.00 h, su conductor y guía de habla inglesa lo recogerá y se dirigirá a Haridwar, que está a unas 5 horas en coche.
Su primera parada será Har ki Pauri. Confiando en ser uno de los Ghats más sagrados del país, Har Ki Pauri supuestamente es el primer lugar donde Ganga toca las llanuras, dejando atrás las cadenas prístinas de los Himalayas. El ghat también se conoce como el Brahma Kund, donde se puede ver la piedra que tiene una huella del pie del Señor Vishnu, como lo señala el nombre.
También podrá explorar dos puentes en Rishikesh. Primero está Lakshman Jhula, el popular puente colgante sobre el río sagrado Ganges. Este Jhula de 450 pies de largo está construido a una altura de 70 pies del río y está a unos 3 kms de distancia de la ciudad principal de Rishikesh. El otro puente es Ram Jhula, que es la Paralaje de hierro, el puente sobre el río Ganges en Rishikesh. Ram Jhula es el puente más nuevo que lleva el nombre del hermano de Lakshman, Lord Ram.
Puede disfrutar del almuerzo en un restaurante local (con sus propios gastos) antes de visitar el Ashram de Sivananda, el Templo de Parmath Niketan, Gita Bhavan, Swarg Ashram, Ma Anandamayee Ashram, Sapt Rishi Ashram y The Beatles Ashram.
Por la tarde durante el atardecer, podrá visitar Ganga Aarti en Haridwar. Miles de sectas visitan los ghats del Ganga en Har ki Pauri en Haridwar para presenciar el aarti que comenzó hace varias décadas. La tradición continúa sin cesar y es un espectáculo para la vista. Se lleva a cabo en el otro lado de las orillas donde verá a los sacerdotes encender las lámparas en el sentido de las agujas del reloj, acompañadas de canciones en alabanza a la Madre Ganga. Por último, regresará a Nueva Delhi y le dejarán en su hotel en torno a las 22.00 h.

My guide (Rajpal Rana) picked me up sharp at 6 am, we communicated the day before via Whatsapp. I fell asleep in the car and at about 8:30 am we stopped at a nice restaurant for breakfast. Around 11:00 am we reached Rishikesh. Rana showed me the main temples and the ashrams on the banks of the Ganges. We walked across Ram Jhula and Lakshman Jhula. Rana showed me a nice crystal shop that was run by the local ashram. We then went to Haridwar, and saw the banks of the Ganges, and walked through the area. The ganga arti in Hardiwar begins around 7 pm. I had to cut the tour a bit short, as I had to be back in Delhi by early evening, so we didn't stay for the evening Aarti. I reached my hotel by about 8:30 pm. But Rana was very accommodating. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a way to see both Haridwar and Rishikesh in the same day.
This is an excellent tour. Our driver/guide was Raj Pal and found him to be fantastic! On time for our pick up and his driving was flawless which is not easy if you are familiar with India. He was a wealth of information on the area and what we were seeing and doing and we felt at all times safe and comfortable. The road itself from Delhi to Rishikesh/Hardiwar is not the best but it is definitely worth the trip. My only recommendation is to make sure to take a handful of small bills for Temple entrance fees, washroom fees, etc. And be prepared for a long day. There is some walking required - but it is not difficult. Again - a very good day trip.
Rana was an excellent driver. we always felt safe with him. also his english is excellent compared to other drivers. he gave me rhe regund of 1000 rupies. thank you for the nice experience. The local guide in Rishikesh was not able to speak english. He just had learned a few phrases.
Not worth the effort. Rotten 16 hour journey to see the Ganges. Most other items on the tour were skipped. He pointed one out as we drove by at 50KPH. Inadequate restroom breaks. On the return wife had to wait 8 hours and he stopped for me to pee in the weeds. Very boring journey and woefully inadequate guide. Do not waste your time and money on this one.
Booked this tour for my mom and she absolutely loved it! As soon as I booked the tour, the tour company followed up with me to give me the details of the day. The tour guide, who was also the driver, was amazing and knowledgable.
Wow what a day. Rishikesh was 'mystical' and Haridwar 'spiritual', but a dip in Maa Ganga the highlight. Both locations well worth the loooong day
