Very good value for money our tour guide Alfonso was great managed to see everything you need to experience the boroughs
Carlos loves New York and it shows! He was a very pleasant and helpful guide who went above and beyond to help every one of us, he even went by each person to give them addresses as to where to go for the things they were looking for. Very knowledgeable as well. Freddy was a great driver!
The concept of the tour is great - although I have been to New York many times I have rarely left Manhattan. I enjoyed the tour and most of the places that it took us - they were areas we would probably never have gone to on our own. Our main issue was the knowledge of the guide and sometimes blatant disregard for the fact that some people on the trip probably did not share her bias or political views. Her commentary was also often vague and contradictory several times - e.g. statements like 'it is now safe to walk around this area' followed by ' I wouldn't feel safe in this area'.... near enough in the same breath. She commentated that the Intrepid was an aircraft carrier from the 1st world war!. She made several comments about the Jews being filthy rich and owning half of New York and that they let their children roam the streets unsupervised. 2 things - perhaps they believe the streets to be safe? and also she had done a canvas of the people on the trip when we set off and there were a couple from Israel on the tour! So I repeat the concept of the tour is great but I would definitely suggest that it is scripted for the guides so we get factual commentary and do not stray into controversial topics.
This was a nice tour to get to all the Boroughs of New York, we got to stop once at each Borough for a short time, then had lunch at Coney Island, just wish we had more time at Coney Island but over all the tour guide was extremely friendly with lots of information, we should have done this early on in our vacation instead of at the end.
