Soul Food es una cocina tradicional afroamericana que se originó en el sur de los Estados Unidos. Hoy en día se ha convertido en una cocina muy buscada. Se compone de costillas picantes, coles, pescado y pollo fritos, pan de maíz recién cocinado y algunos platos secundarios como guisantes, ocra o macarrones con queso, por mencionar algunos.
¿Los tours incluyen caminar?
Los huéspedes están invitados a pasear por los barrios visitados. El promedio de caminata es de unos 15 minutos.
¿Las excursiones son aptas para sillas de ruedas?
Con previo aviso, los clientes en silla de ruedas con cierta movilidad pueden alojarse en las filas delanteras del autobús turístico con sus sillas plegadas en el maletero. Es obligatorio que alguien acompañe a los clientes con necesidades especiales para ayudarlos en el coach.
Para los pasajeros sin movilidad o con sillas de ruedas no plegables, recomendamos avisar con al menos 3 semanas de antelación para que podamos asegurar un autobús con un elevador para sillas de ruedas.
Los ascensores para sillas de ruedas son de 49 "X 28" y pueden llevar un límite de peso máximo de 700 lb. Le rogamos que presente las dimensiones y el modelo de la silla, ya que es posible que nuestro elevador no pueda acomodar scooters y otras sillas eléctricas de gran tamaño. Se puede alojar un máximo de una persona en silla de ruedas por autobús.
Tours privados están disponibles con transporte en rampa accesible.

The tour was amazing. It was well organized and our guide, Damien, was knowledgeable, patient and appeared to enjoy his job. He had great interaction with the group. He is definitely an A+ guide. The church congregation was friendly and welcoming, and the choir was outstanding. The luncheon after the service at the iconic Cotton Club was only rivalled by the music trio and the guest singer. We learned about the history or Harlem and the surrounding districts. We highly recommend this tour.

The singers were great, but the church was very tired and there were only about 5 people in the congregation, which was very disappointing. It seemed that the church is more interested in donations than getting people in to see their culture. We were asked for two contentions while we were there and we was only there about 45 minutes and they only sung 4 songs. We were really looking forward to this tour, but do feeling a little disappointed.

While the bus driver drove excellently, and the guide was educational, there was nothing of any added value extra the gospel service..there were 2 full bus loads that went to the church (even one bus load of 52 is way too large) therefore once in the 2nd floor pews there was little to witness. The music and singing and service was very humbling though.. wouldnt do this unless in a small group

Was good and would do it again. Would like to have seen some of the old area as well as the new. A little more of where movies are filmed.

Did not know what to expect. Pleasantly surprised. Perfect day weather wise the church we went to was so welcoming. It was so great to witness how another faith celebrates their religion. Our guide was very informative about the various sites and history attached to the area. Worth the ticket!!

I was disappointed: Our guide was unwell and although we hopped off the coach to take pics 10 Mins St. Patrick's, Apollo etc I would not decribe the experience as a walking tour. Tour returned half hour earlier than expected. Service was good but it was a pity that another guide could not have been found.

The tour was okay but I think I would not book it again. We only ride the bus to the Gospel Church with a really really short stop at the Apollo Theatre. There was NO walking tour of residential sections as told! Also I expected a Gospel Choir but I think that was my fault. At the gospel church of course were gospel singers but the instruments have been so loud that the charme of the gospel singers got lost - but I think I had a wrong imagination
