Su aventura en los cenotes comienza con la recogida en el hotel de Playa del Carmen, donde su guía le recibirá con café y bollería. Relájese durante el trayecto de 30 minutos a Puerto Morelos y descubra cómo la composición geológica de la península de Yucatán es especialmente susceptible a la absorción de la humedad, lo que permite la formación de los cenotes.
En Xenotes Oasis Maya, un nuevo parque operado por Experiencias Xcaret, visitará cuatro cenotes por orden de antigüedad, que determina la apertura del cenote a la superficie y la fuerza de sus corrientes en relación de la red fluvial subterránea. Cada cenote del itinerario también representa un elemento natural: fuego, viento, tierra y agua. Los antiguos mayas construyeron sus aldeas junto a estos hundimientos que suponían una fuente natural de agua y los trataban como una vía para comunicarse con los dioses. Protegiendo a cada cenote había un alux, un espíritu guardián de la selva, que compartía características con su territorio. A menudo, los mayas pedían permiso a los aluxes para entrar en un campo o cenote, que cuidaran sus cosechas o que los protegieran de los ladrones.
Mientras se aproxima al cenote del fuego, K’aak, ejemplo de cenote abierto, oiga las corrientes que fluyen libremente y admire la exuberante vegetación que crece en sus paredes verticales. Su guía le contará que el alux K’aak era conocido por su vitalidad y por animar a la gente a aprovechar el momento. Así que siga su ejemplo y suba a un kayak o flote en una cámara de aire para admirar los hermosos paisajes que le rodean.
En el cenote del viento, Lik’, podrá cruzar el estanque en tirolina, como el alux que adoraba sobrevolar sus dominios. Las paredes de piedra caliza de este antiguo cenote se vinieron abajo y bloquearon parte del acceso al sistema fluvial subterráneo. Disfrute de un refrescante baño en sus suaves corrientes.
Encarne el espíritu divertido del alux Lu’um mientras desciende en rappel por las paredes de roca del cenote de la tierra, un cenote semiabierto. En él, el agua fluye horizontalmente a través del acuífero de túneles y cuevas.
Visite el cenote del agua, Ha’, una cueva con fauna acuática y formaciones rocosas sorprendentes. Mientras bucea con esnórquel podrá descubrir un mundo submarino de nenúfares y peces de colores, y disfrutar de la sensación de paz y armonía transmitida por su alux.
Después de cada cenote, podrá disfrutar del champurrado (una espesa bebida mexicana de chocolate) o café y unas galletas. Antes del traslado de regreso al hotel podrá degustar un picnic gourmet a la hora del almuerzo, que incluye una sopa de pasta y verdura, una selección de quesos y embutidos de primera calidad, panes rústicos y ensaladas frescas. Tendrá incluido café, vino, cerveza y agua (además de refrescos y frutas de temporada que le proporcionarán por el camino).

I did not feel that is was a very personable experience. The guide was friendly however, hardly ever spoke unless spoken too. I love history and so would have loved to learn about the different Cenotes that we visited and the history behind them. The lunch although decent was not what I had expected. It would have been nice to be served something from the Mexican culture and not just coldcuts. I have been on several tours over the years and this by far was my least favorite. It definitely was not worth the money that I paid.

Everything was so beautiful and pleasant. We really enjoyed our small group and all the different activities. This isn't a lazy excursion - lots of swimming and other physical activity. It's also a wonderful way to experience the cenotes.

We absolutely loved this tour! Most favorite part of our trip. Something fun for any adventure seeker. They provide, water, bio-degradable sunscreen, showers, towels, snacks/lunch, drinks etc. We loved repelling, kayaking, zip lining, cliff jumping optional, swimming under water falls. It was beautiful. We saw so much wild life on the tour to. Beautiful pictures. The only thing I would change is the photographer that they have help with the tour charges kind of a lot for the pictures. We would have bought them had they had been a little cheaper. Lunch was good and simple. Bathrooms and showers were nice at all the Cenotes. We recommend water shoes or closed sandels because of the frequent change of cenotes and land. The bus was air conditioned and picked up/dropped off at our hotel. Our guide was wonderful and made us feel like family! Cant wait to go again. Highly recommend for couples and families with children over 6.

We had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend this excursion. The one thing I was not happy with was the photographer, Jamie that traveled with the group and took pictures throughout the day. Be careful of this. He is very good and did take great photos, but as he tells you the photos will cost 50.00 to access them on the internet. He doesn't tell you that it will cost another 79.00 to upload them without the Xenotes logo plastered on the photo. This I thought was a total rip off.

My 9 year old daughter and I went on this tour last month. It was a really fun day. There was ziplining, kayaking, swimming, and even jumping off cliffs if you were so inclined. I was initially nervous about signing up because of all the activities but none of them were too strenuous and if you really didn't feel comfortable doing something, you could easily opt out. There were many activities throughout the day which kept the day interesting and you were able to see many different types of cenotes as well as learn a little about them and how they were formed. The lunch was very good and the tour guide spoke both English and Spanish so no one felt left out.

Travel provided via shuttle to 4 different cenotes and events. It was organized and executed really well. Lunch was delicious. The guides and staff were knowledgeable . Highly recommended!
