Recorrido privado de 8 horas en vehículo 4x4 desde Ponta Delgada

We had a full day tour with Talmo and it could not have gone better. The great part of getting a guide is he able to know where to go and when to do it, as you could drive all the way to Lago de Fugo an then the visibility is horrible. He asked us what we were planning the rest of our trip,so he didn't double up. We told him we were into hiking so he took us to great hiking trails. If you only have a few days on the island this is a great way to make sure you hit the highlights. We stopped at a great lunch place and found parts on the island we never would have found ourselves. It was like touring with a relative or long lost friend. Highly recommend and ask for Talmo!

This is one of the best tours I have ever taken - anywhere! Telmo was born to be a tour guide! He was very knowledgeable and entertaining and just plain fun! We had such an enjoyable day with Telmo! He picked us up at our hotel at 9:30am and asked us what we wanted to see. Since we didn't know much about the island, we told him to bring us to his favorite places. He told us a lot of stories about the island and its people. After a short hike, we made a stop at Lake Congro - an emerald green lake hidden in the forest. Telmo also brought us to many scenic vistas around the island and I was able to take some amazing photos! We went for lunch at a famous steakhouse and visited the Lake of Fire Lagoa de Fogo. We also visited a waterfall and regretted not bringing our bathing suits. A unique stop was at the Water of Lombados where we drank carbonated spring water from a natural spring. By the time Telmo brought us back to the hotel, we were sad to say goodbye. I cannot recommend this tour enough! You are guaranteed a great time!

My 27 year old daughter and I spent an entire day with Telmo. He picked us up at the hotel in his Jeep. We drove over the whole island. He knew of scenic spots we never would have found on our own. He was very personable and easy. His boss made a reservation for lunch for us in Ponta Delgado at our request. Telmo was very informative. He grew up on the island. I would highly recommend this tour.

What an amazing tour it was! Delfim was at the hotel at 9:00 and we allowed him to set the itinerary. He took us to places which were beyond our imagination! While booking the tour, book a fish lunch. Delfim will take you to a small village and you will be amazed at the fish tray with fish, fruits and vegetables at an unbelievable price. Delfim is humorous and knowledgeable and we enjoyed his company very much. There was no time set for any attraction and we spent the time that we wanted to. Thank you Delfim for showing us the very beautiful Ponte Delgada. Hope to see you next year!
