I loved this tour. Aaron was a great guide and I enjoyed sitting in the front of the van with him, chatting about the waterfalls, Portland, and the state Oregon in general. He's a very cheerful, engaging, and knowledgeable guide. I learned a lot.
If I could I would give it 6 stars! It was more than what we expected. The tour guide Steve was fabulous. He was so polite, kind and gave us lots of great information. We had no idea we were going to see so many beautiful waterfalls. The trip was honestly a perfect way to spend your afternoon if you are a visitor. You get to see so much. The only suggestions I have is to leave more time for Multnomah falls. Thank you Viator and Steve!!
We were able to see more attractions in our tour than we could possibly have see oreven found in the time spent with your tour. Kudos to our excellent host
This was an amazing trip mostly because we got an amazing guide(Crystal).I would highly recommend the Columbia River Gorge and Multinomah Falls Trip.If you can, please take the Portland City tour in the morning from the same tour operator(Hub World) since they will put you on with same guide and coach for the entire day which really helps. As a note:Call them to confirm your pickup location.
Loved this tour. Beautiful scenery. Our guide Johnny was very friendly, informative and professional.
This tour is definitely worth it! Our tour guide shared lots of interesting facts about the areas we visited and gave us some great tips on other local attractions/restaurants to check out while we're in town. The falls we visited were breath taking! Absolutely must see if visiting Oregon.
Guide was knowledgeable, funny, and accommodating. Met some great people on this tour. Attractions were beyond expectations. Referred this tour to all of my teacher friends.
My wife, daughter (college aged), and I really enjoyed our trip. Our guide, Denon, was excellent, attentive, knowledgeable. The tour operator picks up riders at hotels but we were staying at an Airbnb. The operator's customer service rep. took the time to find the nearest hotel to our Airbnb and sent a follow-up email with the address, which was less than a quarter mile from our place. We had perfect weather. The views were excellent.
Crystal was our tour guide and she was fantastic - very friendly, knowledgeable, and funny. We went to many beautiful places and had enough time to walk around and take lots of pictures. I highly recommend this tour.
I really enjoy my experience, my wife and I had only a couple of days to visit Portland and this provided a good opportunity to do experience some of the Portland has to offer. The guide was extremely nice, helpful and informative.
Our family half-day tour was wonderful and informative. Our family had limited time in Portland. This tour was perfect for our schedule. Excellent guide-knowledgeable, personable.
I had a great time! The tour guide is a great conversationalist and a safe driver. We visited several falls and the views are breathtaking. I just wish there was more time to stay at all of the sights. The times alloted went too fast. It was a great way to spend the afternoon.
Crystal was a terrific guide. She picked us up promptly and showed us several spectacular waterfalls. She knew a back way in to Bridal Veil Falls that avoided a hike that would have taken more time.
Evan, our tour guide was amazing! The falls were beautiful and enjoyed the short hikes out. Evan’s stories were interesting and entertaining!
We had a great time with Tom guiding us along the way, stopping at three beautiful waterfalls and another scenic overlook. Tom was extremely helpful, informative, and knowledgeable. Definitely the highlight of our trip to Portland!
Let me start by saying the tour of the Columbia River Gorge and the Mulknomah and Latourell Falls was great. A wonderful scenic experience, and Hub World Travel the tour operator delivered as described. The reason for the 2 stars is with the tour guide alone. We were on a 20 seat bus, and could not hear most of her commentary, even when requested to speak up. She left the Vista point over the Columbia River Gorge 5 minutes earlier that the stated depature time, leaving 3 tour participants behind. When we literally yelled at her that there were people missing as we left the parking lot, she didn't get off the bus or open the door to call for them. Fortunately, all three made their way back to the bus. Finally, at the end of the tour, confusion was the theme upon returning to Portland. She left about 1/2 of the people off, not where they had boarded, and told them a shutlle bus would take them back to their hotels. The tour bus, with her on it, left the folks on the street, and the shuttle bus drove past without stopping. Again, I enjoyed the tour, and the waterfalls. Had it not been for our tour guide, it would have been a five star review.
Although some areas were off-limits because of last year's fires, we saw some amazing waterfalls and had a lot of fun. I do wish I'd worn proper hiking boots instead of tennis shoes, though; a couple of the trails had loose dirt and gravel.
We booked half day waterfall tour . Our guide Eddy was extremely helpful and knowledgeable , took time to explain the history and why what exists. Highly recommend this tour for others worth the money.
