Pass By: Wenceslas Monument, Vaclavske namesti, Prague Czech Republic
The tour begins by picking you up at your Prague hotel, Airbnb or elsewhere in Prague. Our comfortable vehicle will then transport you to the German part of the National Park. The snacks and beverages along the way in combination with an informative description of the passing landmarks will make the journey over in no time.
Stop At: Bastei Bridge, Basteistrasse, 01824 Lohmen, Saxony Germany
Our first destination is the magnificent Bastei Bridge (Saxon Switzerland, Germany). The breathtaking view of the Elbe River Canyon, high above which the Bridge perches, will be engrained into your memory forever. Watching the sunrise above the unique sandstone pinnacles is a priceless experience.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Neurathen Castle, Rathen, Bastei, Saxony Germany
The easy scenic walk across the Bastei Bridge is finished by an excursion of the medieval castle ruins of Felsenburg Neurathen (13th cen.), located at the other end of the Bastei Bridge.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Pravcicka brana, Hrensko 82, Hrensko 407 17 Czech Republic
The following jurney takes us over the border to the Bohemian (Czech) part of the National Park. The 2km hike navigates us to the Pravcicka Gate. Approaching it from below, you will see the majesty with which it stands at the top of the surrounding landscape. It is the symbol of the Bohemian Swizerland National Park and you will know why, once you see it.
Duration: 2 hours
Stop At: 392 01 Mezná, Czechia
Within seeing distance from the Pravcicka Gate is our traditional Czech restaurant. A rich 'a la carte' lunch will be an appreciated reward. Both traditional Czech and international dishes are served (vegetarian options available).
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Kamenice Gorge, 405 02 Hřensko, Czechia
Our final trip begins at the restaurant's doorstep. A descending hike unravels the beauty of the Kamenice River Gorge. Its moderate rainforest climate is very refreshing. The river along which you stroll is wild at first, but as you approach the boat cruise section, it calms down completely. The mystical dinghy boat cruise is the last element of this impression-rich day tour.
The tour will end by dropping you off in Prague at your accommodation or elsewhere in the city.

I have done some 50+ Viator tours on 5 continents in my life. This was definitely in the top 3 of most amazing tours. Absolutely marvelous experience. Cannot recommend Alenka and Paul highly enough. They were so engaging, kind and fun. Everything on the trip is taken care of from food to drinks and even change to go to the bathroom. You do have to walk quite a lot, but it is certainly worth it. Just make sure to book on a sunny day, as it would likely be slippery otherwise. But definitely go with this company!
Our group really enjoyed our incredible tour experience. Our driver, Pavel, and our tour guide, Jan, were extremely friendly, organized, and eager to provide an awesome tour. Jan answered any questions we had while on the tour, described each stop in detail, and was fun to be with and learn from. The stops on the tour were also great - a mix of sightseeing, hiking, a boat ride, and lots of history and great stops to see. We would highly recommend this tour! Thanks, Jan and Pavel.
This outdoor activity had mesmerising views of historical and natural structures and fantastic views of the surrounding lands. Sara was a wonderful guide who attended to us. She was friendly and a good conversationalist. The trip was not too difficult but you had to be fit for the long walks and hikes. To cover three places of interest in one day is well worth the tour. Lunch was very good. Great organisation
The variety of vistas is outstanding from scenic mountains to beautiful gorges. Sara our guide and Paul our driver did a great job throughout the day. Paul was even able to suggest a short walk from our hotel in Prague to one of the scenic areas nearby. Overall a great experience.
The scenery was gorgeous and spectacular! Luckily, we had perfect weather, with no rain or fog in sight. The group was small and very personal, so we drove out in a comfortable van. Our guide John was very knowledgable and fun to be with. I would highly recommend him. He provided us with hiking sticks to help us out. We hiked around the ruins, which had some short, steep, steps. Then our next hike was to a cafe and a wonderful natural arch. It was also magnificent, but a longer hike with a uphill incline and switchbacks at the end. John then treated us to a beverage of our choice and then we started back down. We stopped at a beautiful restaurant, where John also covered the meal. We could choose from the menu the local cuisine. Lastly, we hiked again down on a very steep downhill trail with steps and switchbacks into a beautiful green, lush canyon with a river flowing at the bottom. We caught a boat and road it thru the canyon on smooth water. Hiked back out to the van for our return journey. It was a long day and we got home around 9pm that night, but it was well worth it. It was the highlight of our Europe trip.
My Husband and I went on this Tour in June. We had a guide Stephan. He was wonderful. Made the miles up the mountain doable because he was funny and talkative. The sites were absolutely beautiful. Be prepared for an intense hike but the views at the top make it worth it. We would recommend this tour to all our friends.
The guide and driver are very kind and polite, taking care of all the tour members. We could see photogenic landscapes in this tour. The lunch in the restaurant is tasty! Sadly, it was rainy day, but the guide and driver would lend us umbrellas. However, it is better for us to prepare raincoats by ourselves, because it is easy for us to walk in bad weather.
Just came back from the tour. The landscape was amazing, the walk along the river was GREAT, the food was good and our tour guide *nickname John* made my day. Very down to earth , lots of laughter with my group!!! Worth every penny
Our guide Steve as very engaging and made the tour fun and entertaining. I must advice, to pack some snack bars or some fruits with you during the hike. Though they do have snack bars and water for the group, with the hike and walk, it can make you very thirsty and hungry. We stopped at the Pravčická bridge for some beer and by this time we were famished and good things we brought some bananas and that sustained a bit. We ate lunch just before the gondola-like ride. And the food choices were excellent. I suggest before booking this tour, that you are fit to walk and hike for almost 10 miles. And the stairs to the Pravčická bridge can be steep and use shoes with good traction to prevent you from slipping. I saw people wearing sandals and Birkenstock type of shoes, that made me say “what are you thinking?” This tour is worth it, the view and scenery is breathtaking. With proper footwear, comfortable clothes and enough nourishment’s on your backpack, you’ll enjoy this trip. We were just disappointed with the driver with Steve, he was more than 20 minutes late in picking us up back to the city. And by this time, we were exhausted and just want to get some rest.
The whole experience was a blast and Petr was a fantastic guide. Every detail was taken care of, from snacks, drinks, and meals, all the way down to poncho's in case there was bad weather. Pavel even offered me to borrow his coat in case I was getting cold. If you're going to see the national park while you're in Prague which you absolutely should then this package is the only way to go. Thanks to Petr and Pavel for a great time!
