No se requiere experiencia. Su guía experto le enseñará los aspectos básicos y le guiará en un recorrido por uno de los destinos turísticos ecológicos de San Diego.
Tras una breve charla sobre el uso del remo y sobre medidas de seguridad, se dirigirá con su kayak a la playa de La Jolla Shores y remará a las cuevas de La Jolla Sea Caves disfrutando de las impresionantes vistas y contemplando la abundante vida silvestre. También recorrerá increíbles formaciones rocosas y cuevas (si las condiciones lo permiten), a través de los extensos bosques de kelp y los e bosques y los mejores lugares en los que contemplar la naturaleza y todo ello a bordo de un kayak con el que regresará de vuelta a la playa.
Se pueden contemplar numerosos tipos de aves marinas y es muy común ver leones marinos, focas y a veces delfines o incluso orcas.
Qué esperar: prepárese para mojarse. Por motivos de seguridad, el operador turístico no puede garantizar la entrada a las cuevas en las excursiones. La entrada a las cuevas se realiza en función de las condiciones del océano, de la seguridad y de la capacidad de los participantes, según lo determine el guía.
Este recorrido se recomendado a partir de 6 años de edad. Los participantes deben ser capaces de nadar.

La confirmación se recibirá cuando se realice la reserva, a menos que esta se haya efectuado 1 día antes del viaje. En tal caso, la confirmación se recibirá lo antes posible, en función de la disponibilidad.
Se requiere estar listo al menos 30 minutos antes de la hora de salida
Espere mojarse, por favor use ropa adecuada, como un traje de baño y zapatos que puedan mojarse (zapatos tenis, 'zapatos para el río' o chanclas)
Sombreros, protector solar y toallas son muy recomendables.
Por favor no traiga objetos de valor y cosas que no puedan mojarse.
Hay un límite de peso de 375 libras
Por razones de seguridad, el operador turístico no garantiza ir a las cuevas en las excursiones. La entrada a las cuevas se basa en las condiciones del océano, la seguridad y la capacidad de los participantes, según lo determine el guía.
La edad mínima es de 6 años.
Todos los participantes deben ser capaces de nadar.

My wife and I were fortunate enough to have a guided trip with Omar, who shared his extensive knowledge of both the La Jolla Cove and the surrounding neighborhoods we could see from the water. He was extremely helpful in his instructions both getting out past the break and returning, which was key as we saw a number of kayaks flip coming in. All in all a memorable adventure.

Tour was great...friendly staff, well organized, easygoing, and fun! Saw lots of wildlife. Comfortable pace of tour, we did a fair amount of paddling but it was split up nicely not to feel too difficult. Recommend going in singles unless you and your paddle partner are super in sync!

Myself and my two teenage girls went out with two guides and two couples. We really enjoyed it. The guides were very friendly, funny and informative. While it does take some strength to row, it's not an extreme effort. The girls did fine in the kayak together, and I did fine by myself. We got to see some wild life and go inside the cave. We'd certainly do it again, and recommend the tour. The only problem we encountered was parking. Be very prepared to walk 2-3 blocks to get to the place, so arrive early. Other than that, you'll have to walk a little ways to the beach, so if your feet are sensitive, bring water shoes. Ultimately, it's worth the trip and time.

Great guides, great views. So much fun to be out on the water and get some background on the houses, the environment, and efforts to keep the ocean there pristine. The cave was interesting thought not really a focus. If the water is rough don't expect to go in since the guides have to guide you in by swimming in-between two boats. We went in and were greeted by two seals about 10 feet away on a ledge. Worth the time and would do it again.

We had an amazing time kayaking on the sea caves adventures. The guides were knowledgeable of the area and professional. We would do this again just wish we brought the go pro to take pictures!!
