Le recogerán en su céntrico hotel de Santiago y pondrán rumbo a Portillo. Pasará por la depresión intermedia y podrá admirar la cordillera de los Andes.
Visitará el monumento de Chacabuco en el que tuvo lugar la batalla de la independencia de Chile en el año 1817. A continuación, cruzará un túnel que bordea la región y llegará a un lugar en el que podrá ver el Monte Aconcagua al fondo. Por la carretera, podrá ver el antiguo ferrocarril andino y, mientras cruzamos el Río Blanco, podrá admirar los pequeños pueblos, campamentos mineros, glaciares y las impresionantes montañas de los Andes.
Llegará a Portillo y podrá ver los pasadizos secretos que se construyeron para protegerse de las avalanchas que se producen en la temporada de invierno. A continuación, se realiza una parada para el almuerzo (no incluido en el precio del tour) mientras se maravilla ante la imponente y hermosa Laguna Inca. A continuación, volverá al hotel por la tarde.

If I could give this tour 10 stars, I would! Portillo Lagoon is a unique place. We were only tourists on that day and the car that picked us up was new, very friendly driver and great tour guide. If you love mountains, this place is definitely for you! We also stopped by the river, where the water was so clean, you could drink it! Overall, very nice place!

Peace, the freshest of air and magnificent scenery! We were amazed that the tour took place since we we the only two in the 6 seater car but Willi, our independent tour guide, was happy to see us and to entertain us with information and jokes all the way - and it is a long drive to and from, up twisting, climbing, narrow roads. We opted to have lunch at the hotel and again, we were the only clients until two more followed as we left. The food was delicious, the service very calm and friendly and I had my first but not last pisco sour.It was one of the most memorable trips of our cruise and definitely worthwhile - if you don't mind several hours in the car and, due to the elevation, have no breathing problems.
