In the morning, your professional English-speaking guide will greet you in your hotel lobby at the agreed time. Drive for about one hour to reach the watertown, where you may take time to wander through the narrow streets, climb over the various bridges, discover interesting handmade articles from the street shops and appreciate the traditional architecture of the houses.

After enjoying an 8 to 10 minutes’ cruise on the river from Kezhi Garden to North Street, the rest time is free. Please have lunch by yourself. There are many local snacks in the town, and you can try them according to your own taste.

Your guide and driver will escort you back to the downtown to visit Shanghai Museum. As one of the best musuems in China, Shanghai Museum boasts vast storage of historical items, such as bronze wares, chinaware, jade, Chinese paintings and calligraphy works, ethic clothes, and furniture of the Ming and Qing dynasties.

Then, you will go ahead to explore the Yuyuan Garden. Located in the old town, Yuyuan Garden is the most famous ancient site in this city for its ingenious layout and delicate architecture.

After visiting Yu Garden, there is about half an hour for you to hang out at Yuyuan Market next to the garden. There are many traditional Chinese buildings, which nowadays are used as commercial stores to sell local products, snacks, souvenirs, antiques and so on.

Pass By: The Bund (Wai Tan), Zhongshan East 1st Road, Shanghai China

At the end of the day, your guide will drop you off at the famous Bund Area. You may enjoy the night scene of the Bund and the Huangpu River by yourself. If you are not interested in staying there, your guide and driver will escort you back to your hotel.
