Banquete medieval en el Castillo de Bunratty
Únase al conde de Thomond para disfrutar de un banquete glorioso su majestuoso castillo de Bunratty del siglo XV. El mayordomo del conde dará la bienvenida a los visitantes de todos los rincones del mundo brindando por una época de gran sabor irlandés con una excelente comida, buen vino e hidromiel.
Cuando llegue al banquete en el castillo medieval de Bunratty, un gaitero con falda escocesa interpretará una melodía de bienvenida. Subirá por las escaleras del castillo cruzando el puente levadizo para tomar el "bocado de la amistad", que ofrece una de las anfitrionas.
Al entrar en el Gran Salón que resplandece con tapices y muebles del siglo XVI, saboreará una copa de hidromiel mientras se relaciona con las damas del castillo. Se relata la historia del castillo seguida de un madrigal medieval. Sea testigo de la coronación de los condes antes de descender a la sala de banquetes que refleja el estilo de comedor de la época medieval con sus asientos de banco, luces de velas y largas mesas de roble.
Mientras disfruta de una espléndida cena de cuatro platos con vinos de calidad, disfrute de las melodiosas voces de las damas del castillo acompañadas del arpa irlandés y el violín. El Mayordomo busca la aprobación de los señores para todos los platos que le presentan. Sin embargo, se descubre a un bribón que deben traer ante el conde, quien decide su suerte.
El espectáculo de 35 minutos que sigue a la cena es una excelente selección de canciones irlandeses medievales y tradicionales con música instrumental. La velada completa tiene una duración de dos horas y media.

We really enjoyed our evening. Fun music, great story line and wonderful performers. The story telling was fun and the food was great. A really lovely evening in an authentic castle. Some difficult stairs up and down, but nothing unmanageable.
We had a very enjoyable time at the Bunratty Castle Medieval Banquet. The mead they served us when they first greeted us was very tasty, the main courses were spare ribs and game hen, the songs they sang sounded authentic, and the actors seemed to be having a good time, which made it fun for everyone!
The entertainment was delightful, the food was good, I'd really love to give it five stars. However, it was extremely cramped. They need to reduce the number of people at each table by at least four and spread the guests out a little. I was sitting so close to both people next to me that I was burning up the whole time. Also, even though I booked the dinner months in advance (in fact, only a few days after the date/time became available, as I had been checking consistently), our seats were terrible. We were way off to the side and sitting facing away from the entertainers. I couldn't turn around to watch very well due to being jammed in there so tightly. It's a shame, because it has the potential to be so good. All they need to do is book a few fewer people and it would be excellent.
The performers were very good and entertained us thoroughly. We had more than enough to eat. The music was enjoyable as well.
Super fun experience. It was a little crammed in the room, I feel like a few less people would have been more enjoyable. Good food, good show.
Lots of fun and I would recommend it to anyone travelling in the area. Food was excellent!
The food was ok and sufficient in qty but the room was too small for the amount of people crammed in their with only one A/C to cool the room. If you were not in the direct path, it was hot and stuffy. We left before dessert was served as it became unbearable.

This was a great opportunity to see the castle and grounds if you can't get there during the day. We also enjoyed the dinner and entertainment
It's like taking a step into the medieval past. Beautiful castle, great entertainment and meal. No visitor to Ireland should bypass this eye opening adventure !!
We were probably a bit sceptical about the banquet, but I have to say the quality of the entertainment was fantastic. The singers were excellent and the food was delicious and plenty of it, and wine!!! I would highly recommend going early to have a look around the folk park before hand.
