Excursión a Murano y Burano, incluida una fábrica de vidrio y un laboratorio de encaje

This tour was perfect as there were not too many people in the group. We spent about 1.25 hours in both Murano and Burano. The tour guide provided facts about both islands and additional facts of Venice as we were on the boat. We were back in Venice around 2:30pm.

This is very educational and interesting for people interested in artisan craftsmanship. The weather in September was still hot in Venice, so it was a great way of escaping the hit and enjoying the beauty of this unique islands. There are small boutique shops inside with big choice of murano glass items and great restaurants. Great tour, very well organised. Highly recommended.

There are dozens of boat trips to these islands, what made this different was our charming guide, Minella (sp). She greeted everyone graciously and explained clearly what the day would entail. As they day went on, her input was timely, informational and “just right”. I think it’s fair to say all the guests had an enjoyable time due to her lovely personality and welcoming care.

We really enjoyed this half day tour. The guide was knowledgeable and Burano in particular was beautiful. Would highly recommend this half day tour.

Our guide was on time and easy to find at the stated location. It was a hot day and sitting in the very hot glass demonstration was uncomfortable but the opportunity to watch him create beautiful glass pieces was worth it. They offered water/iced tea, and the guide walked at a decent pace providing good info about the islands. Our boat driver was very good too.

Excellent tour, glass demo terrific with expert master. Frederica knowledgeable and the walking tour of Murano and Burano informative. Boat comfortable and trip very smooth. Wine a bonus! Highly recommended and great value, 5 hour tour and not rushed.

Small group tour that was prompt and professionally presented. Our tour guide was actually a professor at the local university and was great with succinct information . Our group had a blast and the boat captain played great music and we had wine on the return trip. We found the Murano Class blowing shop staff to be very aggressive following us around and trying to sell over priced Murano items . We are from florida and have Murano trained class artist that sell the glass at much less price plus Home Goods sells Murano glass , so do not get fleeced with sales tactics. All in all, this was a highlight and one of the most enjoyable tours on a pleasant summer like day.

This was a good excursion but not great because Raquela, the tour guide, was disengaged and distracted. She seemed to be going through the motions and unconcerned about the people on the tour. The glassblowing demonstration in Murano, however, was enjoyable and very impressive, and the merchandise was diverse and of high quality. On the other hand, the trip to Burano was rushed. There was only about 45 minutes for lunch and the visit to the lace store was perfunctory. It would have been better if we had visited these locations on our own.

Murano trip was good and informative however, Burano was wast of time.

Enjoyed seeing other unique islands of Italy. The glass blowing was amazing and the lace was incredible. Taking photos of the bright houses of Burano was a highlight. Our guide was helpful and we had free time on both islands.
