Acerca de esta actividad
A trip to any country is never complete without tasting authentic local delicacies. On this night walking tour of Xi’an, start at the Bell Tower, an important symbol for the city and one of the grandest of its kind in China. Learn about the interesting legends surrounding the tower's development from your expert guide before starting your gourmet tour.
The first stop is Fanji Restaurant, popular for its cheap but delicious rou jia mo, grilled bread stuffed with minced pork. Wash it down with rice wine before sauntering past the Drum Tower and on to Muslim Street, the center of a large Chinese-Muslim community. Here, you will be greeted by a mixture of pleasant aromas and colorful sights from street vendors. Get a bottle of plum juice from any of the stands and enjoy its delicate taste as you observe how locals make walnut and peanut candy on Xiyang Shi Street.
Next, visit Jia San Restaurant, where you can enjoy guantang baozi. Be careful when eating these steamed buns as they are filled with hot, flavorful gravy! After you’ve had your fill, chow down on delicious barbecue at another vendor down the street. Your many BBQ options include lamb, beef or fish. Pair it with bingfeng, Xi’an’s version of a soda that tastes like orange juice.
Shredded pancake and sesame fillets will be waiting for you at another restaurant. Relax and enjoy this delectable dish at your own leisure, and don’t forget to save room for dessert! Walk down Muslim Street and visit a popular vendor for a mouthwatering persimmon pancake -- the long lines let you know it’s good!
Your friendly and informative guide will bring you to the best places offering the best local food, and will give you a thorough rundown of the dishes you try and places you see. This 3-hour gourmet tour will give you a complete and satisfying experience of Xi’an cuisine!

This tour was fantastic for foodies and non-foodies alike. The Muslim district on Friday night was a treat for all 5 senses. Crowded and chaotic, it was a great experience with scores of restaurants and vendors showcasing their specialties on the streets. Lucy our local tour guide was excellent. Show up hungry and pace yourself.
Hello, All Traveling Colleagues! If you only have several night hours to spend in Xian, we will highly recommend to take this 3 hours tours because it is worth of your and times well-spent with Lucy. Lucy was our guide tour for the night. She was very friendly, well-informed, very exciting, and extra efforts to assist us with Transportation as we requested after the tour late at night! Lucy was introduced us both restaurant and local street foods in Xian. All foods are very unique freshly prepared well! For those foods from local restaurants, we did taste Xians hamburgers no vegetables, tofu and vegetables noodle soup, delicious steamed dumplings, etc. For local street foods, we did taste the pork grilled skewers ur choice of meats, curry chicken on stick, Xian toasted chili peanuts, squid balls, fresh fruit buffet!, Date drinks, rolled iced cream, lotus seed snacks, etc. Also, we drank a Traditional Chinese Sweet Rice Wine as well. Tips: No napkins provide for you. Lucy was well-prepared to bring a bag of napkins for us to use! Dont expect an iced cold glass of water, not a popular cultural thing to do in China. Taste some foods first, if you like it a lot, then eat more of them. Save your empty stomach for plenty samplings. Be extra, extra careful with your personal items on these crowded streets at night Wear comfortable clothes and shoes Bring your own toilet paper from your hotel just in case you need to use restroom. In China, Chinese is super up todays in the Digital World. They have this QD- code in their phones. They use this code to make all financial purchases, no need cash nor credit card involvement! Very easy and fast for purchasing purpose!!! U can do the same before you will head out onto the tour for any personal purchases. Overall, Lucy has inspiring and motivating us in such a depth of Xians foods, people, and culture. She did an amazing job for three hours tour. D and I have enjoyed it very much so from the beginning till the end. By the way, Xian people are very friendly even if you are get lost and cannot speak in Mandarin. They usually know you are tourists and willing to help you out by using their hand gestures to put directions for you as the best knowledge as they can. That was what we have experienced on the Xians streets. Thank you again, Lucy and 西安! Best Wishes to All, D and M
Amazing visit to the food street at the muslim quarter in Xi'an. My guide, Lily, spoke excellent English. Her explanation was very detailed and gave very helpful recommendations in my stay in Xi'an. At the end of my tour, she even took the extra mile to take the public bus with me to my hotel and paid for my bus fare after learning that I had not had the chance to take the public bus. Would highly recommend this tour!
We met Michelle at the meeting point she took us for a walk through the muslim area, it was full of color and sounds. Michelle helped us try lots of new things. She was a wonderful tour guide making our evening fun.
Excellent tour! I wanted to experience a foodie tour while in Xi'an, and Viator delivered. My guide, Michelle, was friendly, knowledgeable, and organized. She suggested great food stalls and took care of everything. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to experience a great food tour in Xi'an!
