This glacial lake isnt only a beautiful sight - you can indulge in numerous activities that will make your stay special and exciting. One of the most popular attractions is traditional Pletna boat that will take you to the Bled Island (and St. Mary church) or you can explore Bled castle and enjoy spectacular views. If you’re sporty type you can take a walk, hike or cycle around the lake, and in summer months you can even refresh yourself in cool water.

Our guide was prompt and his car was big enough for 4 of us to ride comfortably. His English was good and he was very happy to adjust timing in Ljubljana and Bled to our preferences. He gave us good suggestions as to how to spend our time and directed us to a good restaurant for lunch. He also was an excellent driver which made us all feel very safe.
